Not to sound like a boomer, but get a really painstaking unskilled job as a wildfire firefighter. If you don't get training through a college most contractors will train you for free.
The way the job works in your favor is that as long as you work for a decent contractor, you work nearly 100 hours per week for 14 days straight, and on your 2 days off you need your own place to stay and something to eat. Otherwise on days you work, you get free food, and just camp every night. Granted it sucks being surrounded by the same people sometimes, and eventually you smell like an animal. However it's one of the few jobs for uneducated wagies where you actually get a nice paycheck.
