You are gambling that the project will not fail at this point which it looks like it will.
What do I mean by failure ?
This is a transactional currency coin, and if it does not get actual adoption for at a bare minimum something like International payment remittance the additional layers needed to make this platform work will never be built.
Just changing a number in a ledger in a decentralized trusted manner is not as useful as you think it is, even Bitcoin has basic metadata support.
So one of the core apps that needs to be built is a decentralized service that accepts Nano as payment to not only store non pruned full history Nano nodes, but also be able to accept payment to store Cryptographically verified (through a nano payment transaction) metadata for external services.
This is actually something Ripple Does by default as it is needed for payment remittance information from big companies that want to tag their own internal data to a transaction . It is actually under attack as people have figured out how to upload whole feature length films to the Ripple Blockchain using this metadata layer:

https://www.cripple.biz/?transaction=102940DA098FBE4D210141E0136479FDC8E03F4D159D9C4B37BA4F0AB11E6F9C

So creating a trustless Metadata layer is not a small undertaking and is just one of the many external services build by non core Nano devs services Nano needs , but all they have right now are Reddit Bagholders with 3 months at a Python Bootcamp trying to help with their shit tier code.
