Not in the slightest, it'll be a good excuse to die

I’m confused because for once media seems to be shilling a crisis hard instead of doing everything to hide it like in the past. Is this just to damper expectations in preparation of an inevitable downturn that is further softened by the remaining QE ammo + net int rates? Or is it an all out attempt to spook everyone and go nuclear just to hurt trump?

If you haven't noticed they do this every time there's a hiccup. They do this with individual stocks too on shows like fast money.

>Stock goes down for a few weeks
>"YEP IT LOOKS LIKE IT'S GONNA GO DOWN FOREVER THINGS ARE LOOKING BAD"
>Stock bounces back for a week
>"VERY BULLISH ON TESLA WE KNEW IT WAS SOLID THE WHOLE TIME"

Same thing with the Dow, starts to go down, point out everything that looks bad, starts to go back up, engage euphoria.
