It was OBVIOUSLY coordinated, you'd have to be a total brainlet to not understand that.

Whether or not SENT is a real project I don't even care, the use case is paltry. It has no long term chance at survival, and the recent price action absolutely STINKING of PnD doesn't help it in my eyes.

That plus the volume is still embarrassingly low. Any real money in will be hard to get out if this price action continues at this amount of volume. The real fear is that volume dies off and you're literally stuck for another 2 years with not even being able to sell. That opportunity cost is high because you will, in the meantime, miss out on plenty of solid tokens & coins continuing their upwards trajectory.

Anyway, you do you, but for me the SENT risks vastly outweigh the potential rewards, and not being able to put in more than $1,000 or so without worrying about if I'll get my money back even after a pump makes it multiple levels beneath my stack grade.

the VPN industry is one of the biggest growing niches in the tech world, in asia 1 every 3 people uses a vpn, i would say offering a better and cheaper alternative is more then enough to get a significant marketshare in a industry that is projected to be worth 22 billion in the near future

volume was good enough so that a LINK whale bought 1% of the supply on market from idex and there were a lot of market sells for sums around 0.1% of the supply that the market absorbed perfectly, with low caps you have to reason about volume in % of the total mcap, sent volume is perfectly reasonable for the current mcap
also if you look sell side is very thin and top addresses are not moving their tokens, so it means whales are very confident that the real value of this token is way higher

What’s the point of the token after mainnet? They’re going to accept any crypto as payment so why is their token needed? It isn’t. Buying sent is just funding the dvpn service build and after mainnet they’ll push the service and not give a shit about the token. And before you scream “muh staking” just think about it. Will staking really be necessary for the mainnet to work? It probably won’t. You all are just funding a project that’ll make money from charging people other coins to use the service.

sentinel uses tendermint the same consensus algo tezos and cosmos use, and staking is a necessary for the chain to be secure.

what you call a weakness is SENTinel strenght not forcing users to buy and hold a useless utility token like other dvpn projects do.
with SENT after main net you can pay with your favourite stablecoin its built in a way that end users won't need to know they are interacting with a blockchain in the backend.

staking will also give governance/voting rights and part of the fees from people using services and the chain in exchange for the validation provided.
