The market's theory is that all the large dudes weed have reported a decent untick in sales this quarter. Some were able to keep costs manageable during the roll out while others (CRON) were less efficient and still lost a lot of money during. Therefore, CGC should report similarly good revenue. The question remains, how much money did they burn to get it? That's what I'm worried about.

Now, my largest weed position is an American company (cresco) and shouldn't, theoretically, be much influenced by Canadian company numbers. However, weed has a tendency to move in tandem. My only Canadian position is ACB at this time.

Some of you called me dumbies for trimming into the pre-earnings pump last quarter, and I'm feeling that it's once again the smart move.

Problem is, we're WAY below my basis here (-18.31%) and I don't like selling at a loss.

(I wish I'd have put that fucking money into HEXO, which I'm now +12.78% on... my CGC position is more than 10X as large... I think my thesis on the selloff being highly related to the confusion over delisting was correct)

Tax free gains. As in, the money you put in wasn't taxed so your buying power is stronger (over the longest possible timeframe). Then the theory goes that you'll be paying less in taxes when you start to pull money out of the 401k (because you're "earning" less).

But if you think you're hot shit and can make 700% a year, every year and want the liquidity before you become a boomer, then by all means fail to fund your 401k. That $19,000 can do so much for you...

It's true but people easily forget that these things don't happen in a vacuum. If taxes are high on 401k withdrawals then they'll probably be high for any other capital gains too. Unless your plan is to flee for a tax haven, at which point the 401k is pretty much a non-starter anyway.

This is a genuine concern. If there is one thing you should trust it's your government. They are predictable at all and with all the changes if parties or presidents you never know what crazy shit will happen.
Look at south Africa in the past 20 years the inflation rate has doubled. Everyones life savings has literally halved because of the retards in power.
To make it better our government is trying to mandate that all pension funds must invest in government projects. The same government projects that go billions over budgets years overdue and with half a functioning power station and literally half its projects fund found funneled into corrupt officials accounts!?
Do not by all means trust your government!!!

Volitility will drive money from equities to bonds and back when volitility drops so it is certainly viable, however, the peaks and troughs are more gradual so you need big fucking funds to make anything respectable. I just hate the F35 lightning II. It's too much of a multi role fighter. I think that aircrafts are so precise that generality can severely decrease the effectiveness of aircraft. The F22 was amazing because it focused as a superiority fighter. The A10 Thunderbolt II is amazing because it focuses as a close ground support aircraft. These planes are around 15 years old and are used today due to their effectiveness in their fields.

the A-10 is way older than 15 years lol
the F-22 is good because they had an infinite budget

the F-35 is bad for many reasons, but part of it is that the developers for the F-22 were older and smarter and more experienced, the guys who had developed all kinds of stuff
the F-35 was designed by young boomers and gen X guys (and increasing diversity hires) who were completely different and inexperienced people

Got married somewhat recently. My significant other came down with a medical condition a few years ago so she needs pretty consistent care. I do everything for her and I love her a lot, been together for years. But recently she has just become the worst. She basically flys off the handle if i get upset with her to any degree. She’ll fuck up shit in the kitchen i’ll be like “ughhhhh why you gotta put the wooden utensils in the sink AGAIN, I’ve told you like 100 times...”-and this kind of shit will lead to a full out fight and her threatening to divorce. She goes crazy about small shit-any shit, really over reacts. I can’t get anything done now cause the more i work the more she will find something to piss me off and she’ll use that to go ape shit. Gets fucking annoying not being allowed to ever be mad at anything. Idk she has suddenly become an unbearable person to be around and she literally hits me. Im 200lbs and she is half that. She goes fucking psycho over small shit and loses it. I’ve had to hit her off me a couple times and it makes me feel like shit. My grandma was beaten by her husband so I have some respect of those situations. I would kill a wife beater. We don’t play that shit where I am from. But this bitch will fucking attack me. And I would let her right on by or leave or whatever but it’s usually been when she tries to leave the house. I stop her(because she isnt allowed to drive and told me one time she tried to kill herself so since then I dont think its safe) I tell her family or an uber can get her she just cant hurt herself. But she’ll say all kinds of crazy shit and fucking smack and hit me over and over and over. The first time i hit her was out of instinct cause i had be punched in the side of the head so many times while i stood there. She ripped my shirts off and smacked and sctrached the hell out of me for a long time before i did anything. I acted in self defense and still feel shit. She get like possessed.

I'd say this is true as well, generally
most of the time when a woman gets feisty with a boyfriend/husband she's not trying to get hit. But she will probably respond positively (submit) if you grab her strong, shut her up, and tell her very clearly what you want her to do.
It won't always work though, you have to kind of read the situation.
it seems like the wife in this situation seems trapped in the house with the medical condition, so restricting her further could backfire.

I have a trick for this which has worked stupidly well in the past. It's dumb and I didn't expect it to work but it did. GF got the idea in her head that throwing shit and hitting me would get her point across better. At first I would just leave the house when she did that. Then, spur of the moment and half on instinct, when she swung at me I... picked her up. I mean I secured double underhooks (I wrestled in college) and put her over my shoulder. I said I'm not putting you down until you calm down and apologize. I said you can yell up a storm but I will not have things thrown at me and I will not allow any more hitting.

It's dumb. It worked. I mean we broke up a few months later anyway but she stopped being physical after that.

my usual way of hedging is buy one VIIX every day or so

if it goes up the next day, sell em all
if it goes down the next day, i buy another one

that being said i tend to not buy daily if we have a week or two of nothing but the VIX dropping down everyday

I'm doing fine in general but seething over RVLV's ridiculous price behavior.

I know I just have to be patient and accept that I can't time the market. But I should have pulled the trigger on selling when it hit $40, and now it's down at $25.

What do you mean? You buy the lows and either sell the highs or hold like a real investor. Stop trying to time the market, don't buy retarded stocks and don't sell at a loss. Even if we go into a recession it doesn't matter. You buy more. The market literally always rebounds to ATH. Don't try to gamble with money you can't afford to lose. If you do that you will succeed.

Kinda hating myself for not buying the stock of my favorite store, one of few businesses that I frequent regularly, GO. No one else but GO could get me to buy 14 lbs of onions in one trip (mostly red)

If only I knew how to actually evaluate a balance sheet and business. Is this why I'm losing at investing so badly? Should I go back to just buying AAPL whenever they're down, otherwise ignoring the stock market altogether?

olives are the best, i fucking love olives. I'll go out and I'll buy a jar of green olives, and eat them straight from the jar. I'll use the olive juice in martinis later or save it for pickling/deglazing.
>>15239782
onions tho are garbage, the texture is just disgusting. I like the flavor if it's like, in a sauce or aromatic or whatever, but otherwise I just can't eat onion.

Bro I also feel your pain on GO but I'm a fucking idiot. I bought it at IPO and sold it after it rebounded from the initial dip. Sold at $32 and I fucking regretted it the instant I did it but then I wanted to wait for a pullback. Now I'll probably have to wait till the lockup ends for a decent dip. Fuck I'm dumb.

spaghetti sauce - i know that sounds weird but i put olives in my spaghetti anyways so it works, but yea ill simmer garlic+scallions, deglaze it with olive juice, then continue like any other plain ol tomato sauce. desu deglazing with a cheap white wine is probably better? but idk

I've been trading Crypto for the longest time now and wanna get into stocks too for something I wouldn't have to wake up in the middle of the night to sweat over, what are some good, non-KYC (if possible) brokers for Europe (Germany/Belgium) and the GCC (Emirates)? Low fees, good, robust platform, all that jazz
Also, what weekly/monthly returns can I expect as a casual trader (Don't hold positions for long at all, not looking to invest but rather trade)? I'd be happy with 5-10% monthly, the lesser work, and the more returns, the better

I HAVE DISCOVERED MAGIC

My desk chair's paper thin "leather" upholstery has begun to fall apart. I was going to duct tape it but I thought, no, I am not going to redneck it up like that this time. I looked on internet and found the magic. Fusible webbing. You iron it on to a patch of fabric you want to use to fix your torn piece, remove paper backing, then iron the piece with the fusible web now stuck to it on to your thing what needs repair. Bam! Boom! Magic.

MAGIC
