Has anyone here put all their eggs in one basket? I think if you invest in safe stocks like sbux or dis for over a year (assuming a good entry), you end up making really good gains. I didn't finish the whopper either since it was a lot of food. It was just a normal whopper but the impossible patty tasted like spiced beans and it had a spiced aftertaste when swallowing it. Meat does have high input requirements (land, water, feed) compared to the fake meat. But the real meat processes itself "for free". The fake meat has lower material input requirements, the cost is in terms of taking it into industrial facilities and achieving over a dozen complicated processing steps with precise chemistry and ambient conditions

Eventually they should be able to achieve cost parity, but it will take a while (requires more consumers to eat fake meat to achieve economies of scale and some more R&D improvements)

Tried the store bought impossible burgers since my mother is in a vegetarian phase or whatever (her sister got cancer so she's being irrational yes). Honestly tried to hard to be meat while lacking flavor and still getting the texture wrong. Texture was more pork like than ground meat. Never had one since and don't intend to.
