Eh...it's pretty hard to do consistently. Sometimes a stock will come along that makes it really easy for you. I've picked up on one or two stocks that have netted me 5k+ in a pretty short time by just buying and setting a sell order, then when that fills putting in a buy order etc. But it always dries up eventually and you may get burned and left on the side of the road. You just have to watch screeners for those back and forth moving stocks, which are typically manipulated penny stocks. SIML was a good example of this for a while, now when the fundamentals are better than ever it's completely tanked which is I'm guessing because nobody wants to P&D a stock that might be going somewhere, they'd rather just hold.

There're multiple reasons. At first it was because he comes from a time before options existed. But once you hit a certain dollar amount there becomes an issue of liquidity. Basically you can't go all in on a sure thing option with 10 mil because the market just can't support that. It's also not that safe - your entire portfolio can get blown up by shit that has nothing to do with the company you're investing in, and Warren Buffet has always been a more conservative type who buys undervalued stocks and holds 4 lyfe.

Just remember though m8, whatever you buy in the US market needs to be converted from Levs to the USD to be bought, and when you sell it needs to be converted to Levs from the USD.

So even if the stock that you buy stays at the same price for a decade, you could still lose money thanks to exchange rates.

CBS/VIA merger is all but certain. To many rumblings about it. Both companies seem to be in favor of it, shareholders are in favor.

Why should you care? Well Bagging VIA would only set you back $34 per and you'd be getting both companies once they merged. CBS would set you back $45 per. Also once this turns into an official deal both stocks will skyrocket so you could make a short term Profit from it and still hold long term for the Divvy.

Bagging both would set you back $80 per. Why bother? Just bag the cheaper one, save Green, and you'd still end up with both anyway.

The good thing about any financial instution in the EU is that they all go through specific EU regulations, so that is kind of safe.

The lev is also fixated with the Euro, so it will come down to trading euros with usd. I don't see getting burned that much there.

AEZS was this stock for me. one of my first stock purchases and got a 300% return(on my investment of $10 lol).
