Rothbard's "What Has Government Done To Our Money" is excellent and not that long, he's got a crystal clear way of writing. You can certainly find it for free even in audio book form on mises.org.

Pic related is also excellent, most of the book is actually just talking about the nature of money.
Here's the free epub, author says he doesn't give a shit if people pirate it.

It's highly likely we're in the late stage of a bubble.
Bitcoin can't be used as a medium of exchange and seems highly overvalued as a store of value since it has a market cap which is 10x higher than Silver which has been a proven store of value for thousands of years.

If we get the perfect storm it could do an 10x or maybe even more, but that would put it close to the market cap of gold and other assets which has a proven track record and utility.

Buy Fantom if you want to have better risk/reward.
