The **recession** will be announced once most jobs are automated. This will allow the elite to retreat in their bunker and force lower classes to fight each other for food.

I'm a truck driver, I cant tell you since about Feburary the pay rates have been ugly. The industry is definitely in some type of recession, not sure how big of an impact it has on the economy overall, but I'm sure its significant

Me too. 2018 set every record for freight. A lot of it is just dealing with the correction and excess capacity

actual truck driver?

why is your only reaction that pay rates are "ugly"? how are you going to prepare for the inevitable full replacement of your job, thats going to come whether or not you all collectively protest it, simply because human labor is less and less valuable?

yeah 2018 was super profitable for the trucking industry. I've seeing a lot of articles of companies going bankrupt, bad rates, and layoffs. I'm in a good salaried position at my company, just milking paychecks until the inevitable happens, then hopefully I can get into real estate investing when the housing market tanks
