my mom and grandmothers never worked, only the men, and they worked 1 job and were able to afford a house and putting children through school up until college

Start 60k, 3% annual raise, 10-20% jump twice before you're 30, you'll be making 100k soon and be able to pay it off. Just delay the immediate gratification. Dont try to keep up with people without loans.
