Maybe because most people that own Fords use the fuck out of their vehicles and don't use them like little pussies.. Also most Ford owners are well off middle class and can afford to have someone work on their vehicle while most (lets just say chevy owners) are usually poorfags that pretend to be rich (hood rich) and 1. don't even really use their vehicle and 2. if their vehicle breaks down they can't afford to have someone fix it so they fix it themselves...

I've been in countless piece of shit cars of all brands... the people saying that fords are pieces of shit probably never even actually owned a ford and are probably repeating shit ((someone)) down the line has told them in some sort of propaganda.... if you don't know ((who)) i'm talking about.. maybe you should look into what ((people)) Henry Ford had a huge dislike for.. then think to yourself why the ((market)) hates ford so much........ yeah... this shit goes deep...

Ford is as american as you can get

A lot of people actually drive a Ford.. can't tell you how many articles i've actually read where it points out that wealthy people drive a ford.....

but i live in michigan, there are dozens of auto suppliers within 10 miles of my house, so im not to bias (i prefer ford, but ive had more GM/dodge vehicles than i have had ford ones)
besides i know dozens of people who have worked or currently work for any of the big three, so its a moot point

ive heard every story shittalking GM and every story shit talking Ford, in the end 90% is sound and fury signifying nothing, and different generations of various makes and models means that no generalized rule of thumb about any of the car companies is ever true enough to make real world decisions about

that being said, i know quite a few steel workers who are pissed off that ford started using aluminum frames

Dodges diesel has been what they’ve used since forever. It’s an in-line 6 cylinder. They just update it to produce more power, better fuel mileage and emissions. So it’s a well known engine and very figured out. Dodge has had a lot of transmission issues in the past but I don’t know about their new 10speed trannies haven’t heard problems with them though. Dodge has middle of the road for interior with some cool features going for then that they are innovating.

Chevy and Gm have the best transmission the Allison 1000 is solid for sure. The duramax diesel is a powerhouse but has a ridiculous amount of sensors. You’ll have engine lights dummy lights on eventually but they do get very good fuel mileage if you leave it stock. The interior is the least nicest of the bunch. Chevys are always cheaper looking inside.

Ford had some trouble switching from a diesel that was solid made by International to making their own in house engine. The issues are worked out and ever since the 6.7l scorpion by Ford, there’s been nothing but pure power and dependability coming from ford. In stock trim it’s right there with the others but if you tune and emission delete them, the ford will put down a ridiculous amount of power. Idk how the newest ones are but when the 6.7 first came out the downside was fuel mileage. Transmission is solid on these bad boys too. When they first came out they were offering 200,000 mile warranty from the factory. It’s been proven now so they dropped it. Idk if you can pay extra to still get the warranty or not. As far as dependability it’s their for the transmission but it just doesn’t shift like an Allison 1000, theirs a clear difference in shift points for smooth perfect in the power creating Allison to be the higher quality compared to fords. The interior is the best in my opinion of all the trucks. Every ford looks fancy and high class with top of the line bells and whistles.

me saw MASSIVE, MASSIVE buy walls get thrown down in ES_F and SPY and NQ_F

but the weirdest part was the method of algorithmic buying, it STILL HAPPENS sometimes
youd see these sell lots pop up, 2000 for ES_F alittle above the HOD, and price would creep up to it, then the 2000 sells would get eaten up in chunks of like 100 really really fast

you just dont see stuff like that happen, thats not how 2000+ walls usally go

>In the meantime, LMT is eating their lunch, while RTN and UTX are teaming up and consolidating their power. Also, those other companies that I somehow forget about. Northrup.
stock price wise LMT has been lagging
I bought LMT and BA at the same time in 2016, at one point my BA shares were up over 250% each. while LMT has gone up only 175% at most (but LMT peaked just a couple weeks ago, while BA has been falling since february)
>I don't have BA on my watchlist, so I don't get notified when they win defense contracts. Have they won anything in a while?
they win constantly, that comment was tongue and cheek, their largest sector is the only sector that they tend to lose money in

idk what it is currently, but commercial planes segment bounces around for BA, in 2010 if was only 50% of total revenue, but by 2017 it was 68% (down to 61% of total revenue as of Q4 2018)

also BA has not lowered their dividend payments yet, so still a safe comfy hold for now (stock might tank if they ever do announce that they are fucking with divy's)

squatting isn't enough to "make it" even as a woman. It's only one of the five basic movement types (push, pull, squat, lunge, hip-hinge)

And while those look like tasty fuckin latkes, living off of potatoes is a classic blunder of the sort Ireland would make, and they don't have all that much protein.

>Surprisingly, potatoes offer a complete protein if you eat enough, over 10 per day. But you would ultimately encounter deficiencies in vitamins A, B12 and E, and calcium and selenium if you keep to just potatoes.

Hell no
They are like Starbucks but keep losing money - Yet they aren't Starbucks because most of their shops aren't designed to let people sit down and drink coffee
Also they're HEAVILY subsidizing users and putting money into marketing to gain market share unlike your traditional food and drink industry companies
Last year during FY2018 according to their IPO document, their revenue was 120 million yet their losses that year was 230 million USD
2019 Q1, their profit margin improved, yet they're still losing almost 80 Million USD in the quarter with only 70 Million USD revenue
They will announce their Q2 earning report in two week's time, you can guess what will happen at the time.

Also if you do open a Schwab account, if you know anyone else that has an account, I think they can send you a referral link that you can use to get a free $100 or $200 for opening an account. I'd consider posting my code if that weren't against the rules.

> AMDCHADS RYZEN UP

Reporting in.

I wonder how today's earnings call is going to affect AMD's stock. I'm pretty conflicted about it. One the one hand, Ryzen 3000 is selling pretty great (e.g. the 3700X has already sold 60% in three weeks of what the 9900K has sold in 9.5 monts, or 56% of what the 9700K did in the same time, according to Mindfactory.de numbers), the 5700 GPUs series is actually somewhat competitive with Nvidia this time instead of being a complete abortion and outlook for Q3 should be great with Ryzen 3000 (and ROME coming up in August, the main breadwinner). On the other hand, the 3900X had a paper launch and is constantly sold out, Ryzen has various motherboard/BIOS problems, the earnings call was delayed by almost one week and we're still pretty close to the 13-year high.

Should I HODL or short AMD?

At least boomers invest smart. None of this bulshit investing into companies that can't turn a profit. That's why we're getting all these visionary companies that can barely operate and they just keep taking out more and more debt.

Yeah except the the opposite of all that. Whatever makes you sleep at night bud.

I just can't grasp my head around investing and something so stupid with 0 fundamentals

they do some pretty amazing things tbqh

I work in a brick oven pizzeria and, even though our customer base is mostly the type that refuses to eat Dominos' shitty food, the logistics and the research of that company amaze me. It's just that they use such absolutely awful ingredients. I mean they're really, really bad. But there's a lot to be learned from a company like them, in terms of efficiency and customer convenience/accessibility. And when we piss customers off, they're quick to go to Dominos because they have consistency which is where we can fall short

investing in diversified funds, individual stocks or ETFs. holding for the long term, dollar cost averaging (instead of attempting to time the market) and having a decade+ timeline for investing.

I know you said "traders" but most "real traders" don't make money. the ones that do have ivy league degrees and manage millions or billions of dollars

Nah. It was just Xi's strategy. For the entirety of 2019 upper half, he sent his people to talk with America and accept what America demand, then after they almost ready to sign a deal, Xi come up and say no this is bad and smash everything that have been agreed. And this is where we're at now. Xi want America to make further compromises over many details that were previously discussed or else they don't want to restart the trade talk.

boomers or real baby boomers? i think both groups have horrible track records investing in stocks, like much lower than index returns. some studies show maybe 3% long term returns, which after inflation is nearly 0% by stock picking their favourites :) plenty of traders in twitter and media etc. simply bullshit their returns and nobody is asking them something like bank's annual report of their portfolio or require a publicly held official, morningstar type, fund records. so money comes by managing fees or commercials or selling trading signals which are close to index returns if not worse long term. you can also shut down bad funds and let good ones run. if you truly good no need of any of that stuff just stay in the shade and trade like the best hedge funds do

My great grandma just died at age 96. How long do you really want to live with this BYND lifestyle? You’re going to be senile, shitting yourself, wearing diapers, in pain every day, sneeze and break half your rib cage while the lazy cucks of the family rob you blind and force your hand of everything you own to them in the will destroying everything good anybody else in the family thought of you while you can’t do a thing about it and don’t even remember. All because you decided to start eating not very good tasting veggie meat instead of just enjoying good tasty food with exercise living a happy life and dieing at an age you still could manage your own life without suffering
