I've found with options that you almost always get at least 1 chance to sell for a profit, but usually at least a few. Even if you go deep red there's a good chance you will come back to breakeven. The key is to sell between the very top and the breakeven. It's impossible to time the top perfectly, so you just try to get as good as you can at recognizing that happy point in the middle.

Latest news is a July 16 press release that say they have joined an NVIDIA partner program. If they can continue to develop their core product + expand into other areas they'll really have a good model for growth over the next 5-10 years. Either that, or some big firm will gobble them up. If you take a look at what they produce and where the hot money is right now (AI, ML, etc.) you'll see why this stock has a decent chance of continuing the uptrend.

I mean that's really up to you, and what your holding period is. Right now they're a young company with negative EPS, net loss, etc. The balance sheet isn't terrible, but they're a very small operation. Profitability will come only if they continue to secure contracts/partnerships (see the one in June with Nokia) and state/local governments. Ultimately I would suggest doing more DD (go read their SEC filings, for starters), and then assess their prospects vs your risk appetite. IMO It's a pretty risky company in a super hot field with decent prospects for growth.

Why the fuck would it? Sure, they beat earnings, but they're still down YoY and outlook is shit. Especially the important datacenter sector is down double-digits - and that's even without taking AMD's Rome release coming in August taking into account. But yeah, people will sure buy those Xeons again that cost much more, draw more power, have giant security holes and less horsepower once Intel's shortage is over. Sure.

Don't buy Intel until they'll release a product worth its salt again that isn't a 14+++ nm rehash.

Ror! No, I'm sure normies think it was because there was too little government regulation. I'd say it was more just greed. Mortgage lenders not caring about whether mortgage payments are made and selling their debt to investment banks who kept scooping them up and stopped caring about the risk while the ratings agencies gave all their poopy mortgage bonds AAA ratings just to stay in business and hence didnt concern themselves with the safety of the investors. After it all came tumbling down, naturally people started pulling out of the private sector and threw their money into Gov bonds, further fueling the fall of the US, and hence the worlds economy.

T Babies Still flying high; telling the haters to kiss his ass as he leaves them in the dust. Nothing seems to phase him now. The earning report is proof of that. Proof is in the pudding and the debt is getting paid off right on track. That Fat Divvy is nice and safe and will be there for you down the road when you need Him most. Sure there may be ups and downs in the years ahead but you know He will be there for you at the end. Unlike a lot of things in this fucked up world His Fat Divvy will still be yours.

Now the only hard thing you gotta do is just sit back and watch Him work for you. Don't be a fool and give Him to your wife and kiddies when you kick. What the hell man? Don't you know they'll sell him right quick. How could you do that you bastard, He stood by you though it all, your marriages, your divorces, the pain of watching your kids turn into little wimp lazy bags who only want to suck your wallet dry. He deserves better a fate than that don't you think?

You had regulations requiring banks to give subprime loans to nigs and spics to expand minority home ownership/buy their votes. The banks probably would have done some subprime lending without that, but making it a moral imperative (gib subprime mortgages or you're a racist) helped it really go crazy.

But the most blame, IMO, falls on the rating agencies who rubber-stamped AAA ratings on subprime mortgage CDOs without checking that the underlying loans were shit. If the mortgage securities had been seen as properly speculative, they wouldn't have been bought up by pension funds and the burst wouldn't have been as bad.

I agree with this. You already touched on the government imperative and the banks' willingness to go along in the end, but a lot of the blame can be placed on the agencies that let that shit pass. There's also no accountability when they fuck up. Jsut an oopsie, we just wiped out half your retirement - try not to die for the next 3 years while the market recovers. Same thing with the Equifax breach. Zero accountability for a huge fuck up. Kinda depressing.

That's actually what I had in mind when I posted that. It doesn't seem like they were lazy or incompetent, it seems like they were complicit and corrupt, and that this is something we NEED to be regulating.

(Unfortunately, the people talented enough to regulate it well could make much more money elsewhere, especially by exploiting the system.)

You should lurk more, I've posted about this before. It's also part of the ridesharing phenomenon, people just don't feel the need to get a car with how convenient these services are. Unfortunately, they're still not technically profitable, and I don't even think the drivers are getting compensated proportionally to the depreciation of value they cause to their vehicles. So it may backfire eventually, but by that time, people will be so accustomed to ridesharing and enough of the adult population will have grown up without ever learning to drive, that the ridesharing companies will be able to charge more and people will just put up with it. And automated driving may have replaced the need to pay drivers much of anything at all.

Absolutely bearish on automobile sales. That's why I can't buy F, even if the divvy is attractive. I'd rather have that money somewhere else, or save that cash in case the FDA fucks MO over hard, so I can buy the shit out of that dip.

The way you can tell this is true is by the lack of subcontractors. If there were a substantial gap bettwen the pay to drivers and the cost of operating, you'd have other companies operating in that gap to try and capture those profits.
