How do I get better at timing my options trades? I almost always get into a big profit zone, get greedy and watch it grind lower until I bail with small wins. An example is today when my SPY puts were up over $500 and I ended up selling them for $50 at the end of the day. Something similar happened recently where I was up fucking $900 and sold for a fraction. It seems like it's either sell too soon and "you didn't let your profits run", or sell too late and "got greedy". I feel like I can get better at this if I time my closes right but it's so fucking hard when they swing as violently as today.
