Think about the joy you felt as a teenager from just masturbating. Tugging your dick sent waves of ecstasy through your body. Something that simple can never in adult life be imitated without party drugs. Your youthful brain was working at peak efficiency. Every synapse clinched to its brother in a symphony of youth. But even now the connections you enjoyed are aging into a soup of useless boomer matter. Your adult life is spent in imitation and constantly grabbing for the life you left. And the best part is you will always be getting older, staler, and more weak. Life will give you everything and then take it all away. Thank god for death. Else man would lose everything, and then continue.

Youth is EVERYTHING. Money, time, sex can not replace it. You are not what you used to be. You are nothing now.

Good food for thought but not necessarily the case. I enjoy being a boomer more than I used to enjoy my 20s.

>weeks feels like days and days feel like hours; time speeds up as you age
its a function of how our brains record new memories.
when we were young and everything we interacted with was new and interesting to us, our brains had to create lots of new memories, whereas as we age and our lives stagnate we mostly spend our time rewriting existing stored data.
think about any period of time where you found yourself in a new environment, maybe the first few weeks of a new job, first few weeks in a new relationship or the first few weeks in a new city or house, those periods 'feel' way longer than the subsequent years you spend there as your brain is recording all of this new data in a way you dont even notice yourself processing as time passes.

think about your first few days, weeks and months being on 4chan or in crypto, you would be excited to see all the new news being posted and following the charts, you were always out hunting new information, your first 2 weeks posting on here probably feel as long to you as the following 2 years as all the shit thats come afterwards has melted into one blob of memories.
if you want to feel young again, do radically different things, in new environments

Nobody is ever happy. See this little girl she is bored. Boring is depression for kids. Time is going too slow for her.

When you get older you're too busy. Time goes too fast for you.

Buddha was right. Life is suffering deal with it faggot.

Buddha didn't say "Life is Suffering".
He said, "There is suffering in Life".

There is a world of a difference between those two statements.

Also, he was just being skilful and grabbing people's attention. He could just as easily have said, "There is Joy in Life ". But not as many people would have tuned into what he was offering.

Both statements are not doctrine. They are methodology. He's deeper insight is something else.

>> No.14947380

Suffering and Joy are the same. Without joy you can't know suffering. Without suffering you can't know joy.

Yet we concentrate of the suffering more. That's why Buddha was striving to find enlightenment. So he could go beyond suffering but at the same time you also discard joy.
