Unless you're retiring soon, then you may not live to see the legalization of dudeweed and MO's market dominance. Still, reliable customer base, dividend champion, exciting opportunities for growth, and if we DO get the economic catastrophe that is predicted, this one here's a pretty damn safe one, it isn't trading at the crazy multiples the rest of the market is.

What besides tobacco and finance is trading at low multiples right now, /smg/?

I'm confused as to why markets are up so much. Don't get me wrong, I'm bullish long-term on US stocks anyway but this rally is insane.
Powell wasn't even that dovish in his comments to me, either. It was the equivalent of "If we need to cut rates, we will. If not, we won't."
And there's nothing to indicate a need for a rate cut in the economy.

Plausible and I agree it's coming soon. But not yet. If Powell does a cut this month I need to see the market reaction when it happens. By that I mean when he explicitly says he's cutting and gives a date. I need to see what happens that day.

As I’ve started to dabble in crypto, I’m noticing all this talk of these “psychological levels” and how they seem to occur around the whole numbers people generally think of. Like 12000k, almost exactly.

But stocks always trade around random places, there’s no push to get from 5.87 to 6.00. Am I imagining this difference?

It makes me wonder if there’s more of a human hand in those crypto markets, where as stocks are, I hear, something like 90% automated and based on algorithms.

You could definitely say both are “manipulated,” but are stocks more artificial?

Like most successful boomers, he was born into an era of prosperity the US has not seen since (except for sector booms like Silicon Valley and tech). His father gave him the keys to the kingdom, he likely would’ve done well if he’d have just held on to Fred Trump’s real estate empire and done nothing.

He was a straight white male in America at a time where that actually meant something... apparently? I don’t know, I wasn’t there...
and he didn’t fall into the self-indulgent free love, Woodstock, acid, fuck society shit.

And then he was dealt an excellent ‘Trump’ card that saved his life and allowed him to continue making money while other men his age were fighting and dying and earning basically nothing. He has bone spurs.

He actually has specific advice for those who don’t know what to aim for. If you look around on YouTube you should find some of the clips people have spliced.

Someone actually asked that specifically, I think at one of his biblical lectures.

Basically though:
1. Orient yourself to the highest good you can conceive of. (You won’t reach it, which is fine. It’ll change anyways as you get closer, and as your idea of the highest good changes)
2. Don’t overlook things because you think they’re beneath you. (For me this was taking the first shitty entry level retail job I could find. It was absolutely worth it, and sometimes I miss it, even though it sucked.)

I had a couple others but I’m forgetting and I’m not sure how much I’m leaving out by putting it in my own words from what I remember from years ago. And this might not be helpful for you at all.

Oh, most importantly: do something. There’s not really a perfect job, life, whatever out there for you. But you should be able to think of a bunch that sound pretty good. You’ll be better off if you start going after “pretty good” rather than waiting for perfect.

I have found and watched his video. That's a bit too biblical for me as a non religious person, however I guess I can still understand what he's trying to tell his audience. Yet if my understanding on its suggestion is correct and for me to actually following his suggestion, then the only way I can think of to achieve that is to be a te-loli-st. As a disclaimer to any public service personnel who maybe reading this post, the content of this post is supposed to be fiction and humorous and as a merely fantasy it doesn't reflect personal thought of the post's author. Yes I get that doing so is useless and meaningless and worthless and counter-constructive and is the complete opposite to being honourable and all I can get will only be a lot of hatred as well as a few news headlines at best, but that's still the kind of goal that seems to fit what I can do according to his description. Now the question is should I actually be such?

Regarding SNSS: no warrants in deal. That's a major positive. Obviously it's bad that we got side swiped with this deal. Same thing happened when they raised $20 million. Then stock tripled to $1.75. Still bullish only 9 cents away from 2 days ago. And, now company has $42 million in runway for 24 months. Plus existing funds like Aisling, UBS, Biotech Value, Samarsa, etc probably added. So it's all good except the loss we will see in our accounts today. If 200 or 300 scans come in good stocks going to $3-5 dollars anyway. Now capital isn't a concern..

Well that explains the 15% drop. Kinda wish I would’ve just market bought when I saw the drop instead of reading the 8-K since that didn’t last, but this is worrisome. Very worrisome.

This is fine, I'll get a real brokerage instead of robinhood. My question is about crypto... Will I have to cash out or close my coinbase, binance, and idex accounts? Should I even disclose this? I basically haven't paid any taxes on crypto either. I'm just holding in my coinbase and trading in the others. Should I move all my assets to a wallet or cold storage?
