The Lition network itself runs on Ethereum, it subdivides it network into a public blockchain infinite private sidechains that get run through trusted nodes. Thereby a user is able to delete data from the network. This is necessary for real life businesses since most need to be compliant to EU GDPR privacy laws, which state that the end user must be able to request at any time full deletion of its customer data. There even is a chance of goverment adoption for LIT in Germany. They are planning to implement an "Ökoeuro". My suspicion at this moment is that they are planning to use LIT for this, but the real project revealing is in september. So I say lets wait and see what is up to come there.
