they want the mesh net to be hardware agnostic and to incentivise as many users as possible to set up nodes. limiting it to expensive equipment would never achieve the market penetration they're going for and it scales really well by adding numerous cheap devices in parallel. you can buy an official miner for $2k (rebated in SKY) or you can make your own with a raspberry pi for $40 and get it whitelisted onto V1 of the mainnet if you're concerned it's a scam. join the Skywire telegram for more info if you're interested

I think AMB has probably found a bottom now too. Its one of the most hated projects here on biz, because many people lost money on it.
They are growing their network, onboarding masternodes, still building stuff.
It shouldn't be rank #470, it will move into the top 200 with a little bit of publicity.
