i recognise theres value to be derived from spending money entertaining yourself frivolously, theres value in luxury, which isnt necessarily aimlessly wasting money.
and objectively i know that its none of my business what others do with their money when it has no impact on my life, i am also not jealous of others in the sense that i want them to be hurt or to lose whatever they have.
but i just cant shake being frustrated when i hear about people torching money on shit, what do?

as a massive poorfag, i just cant stop it, sums such as $5,000, $10,000, $20,000 would significantly change my life, yet even those pale into nothing when you read some of the bullshit online about x government spending millions on this, y corporation spending millions on that, z celebrity spending millions on this other thing etc.
i can see from my last 12 months of trading shitcoins that my decision making is better when theres less pressure on what im doing, it goes without saying that having a little freedom to be more aggressive will change results but for me is only been positive.

i do try and block out the rest of the world, to stay focused on making something of myself, reality sadly is inescapable and its not just media tales of decadence. in our own lives we see it every day.
how the fuck do i deal with this? its petty to care about others wasting money isnt it?

I don't think you're being jealous. It sounds like you've just learned important lessons from your situation for when you do eventually make what you deserve. The people you see frivolously spending have lost good habits for maintaining wealth, perhaps their parents didn't teach them what it took to acquire it. You are frustrated with the wealth management issues that afflict the modern world, and hopefully that means you will be one of the people that succeeds.

real life, 4chan and youtube mainly. i dont sit and beat myself up going through insta moneygore pages, i find myself getting annoyed at people i shouldnt.
theres a guy i work with who has never done a thing in his life besides smoke weed and get fat (hes nearly 40), his parents still shower him with money to do anything he wants, its not something that can be escaped so its something i need to learn to deal with.

I also know when I take a step back from myself, that a lot of the people I get frustrated with are totally unaware of how easy they have life and in their situation I may well have ended up doing the same thing, I shouldnt let these things bother me.
I also know objectively that I'm not even that poorly off, I'm in better health physically than most people, I've never been to a hospital or been ill.. I'm tall, white, have a good IQ, I live in a safe town etc. There will be people out there who are disabled or with illnesses that will be envious of me that I'm totally unaware of.

That's the whole point of the propaganda, to give you a feeling of inadequacy and that you need "more" to be someone. This is how they control you. While you try to make money, they literally make the money supply. Look into what central banks do and realize the clown world you're living in.

Money is a social contract. Control the money and you control society.

It's not like you could do anything substantial with it aside from investing it in bitcoin/stocks.

>That's the whole point of the propaganda, to give you a feeling of inadequacy and that you need "more" to be someone.
Sometimes we do need more, some rapper spending $500,000 on jewelry I can recognise as propoganda and just outrageous branding, I can dismiss that, real life not as much.
An old friend of my fathers is a millionaire, worth about 10m, he recently sponsored an amateur basketball team his son coaches to the tune of $200,000 for the year, they dont even play in a league. Sure theres probably tax fuckery and helping his son out going on if I look at it rationally, its just a bit of fun to him, but I cant seem to turn my brain off to it, not when I have sub $3000 in the bank and always facing the possibility of losing my shit job or watching markets constantly moving my small stacks sideways.

I think that did the damage was being homeless at 22 and sleeping on the streets for a few months, when I was young I always just assumed that I could always do anything without consequence but now I know theres a real hell waiting people who truly fail and the barrier to get there is tiny, even just 1-2k, so seeing somebody waste 200k for fun just stings.
I'm not even homeless anymore and still have this in me, I have to get out of this mindset.

you suffer grandeurs of delusion as you feel yourself superior to these peasants whom waste money on frivolous nonsense but there's a disconnect between that reality and yours. If you are indeed so superior then shouldn't you be rich and they poor? Why is it that capital is being used so inefficiently when it should quite rightly be handed over to a more efficient user of it (aka you)?
You have to realize that that capital is indeed already being siphoned out of their weak inefficient hands to feed much more efficient causes. Only that money is redistributed back to them in some form or another. There is a huge time lag between cause and effect, hence why these future poor people are rich today and why you, the future rich man, are poor today.
Your jealousy and hatred comes from, first, the overt and constant disconnect you experience between your perception of reality and fair outcomes, and the actual reality as experienced by you (i.e. why am I poor if I'm so much smarter than these stupid wealthy fucks?). Secondly, it comes from ignorance of the time lag inherent in the market mechanism for reallocating capital from inefficient agents (those dumb wealthy plebeians) to efficient agents (you, the scorned fallen patrician).
There exist, of course, certain barriers to participation and for this reason a little wealth makes things a lot more tolerable, but that shouldn't hinder your progress if you truly believe in yourself as an individual. Have faith that in the long-term the market will allocate you the capital you quite rightly deserve, opie.

Dad left when I was 3 to start a new family across country, I left home when I was 17 as my mother was fucking half the married men in town, I left to start working elsewhere as I was sick of having so many different people coming over.
My 2 older brothers had already left for university by that point so it was always just me, I havent spoken to them in years, having just a strung out alcoholic mother and an interchangeable strangers hanging around forced me out, was worse than staying for a free roof.
I dont mean this to sound like a sob story, when I was homeless I met tons of people who were being raped and beaten daily as kids, besides the whore mother in my teenage years my childhood was great.

Nobody thinks that, not even you. Not really. Think of all the situations you have repressed and objectively observe them with the question "is this normal?" in your mind. You had a horrible fucked up loveless childhood and it robbed you of numerous opportunities to have a decent life. The reason you focus on people "wasting money" on their loved ones is because that's an expression of love in a sense. You can't help but wonder who you would have been if you had received even a modicum of loving attention. After all there are plenty of third worlders living on the brink of starvation who at least have the love of their parents. They have no money, but they are happier than you.

Lel, I have $20000 sitting in my checking account.

I'm pretty frugal though. I don't worry about what other people are spending their money on. I know plenty of people who are either house-poor or car-poor because they want to keep up with the Joneses. I find it more amusing than anything. I'm perfectly cozy in my 3/2 house, paid off 8 year old Honda, healthy 401k, and minimalist lifestyle. I do blow money on international travel though, and having kids is a money sink, but we buy their clothes at Goodwill and Walmart, because they grow out of them so quickly. It blows my mind when I see other parents spending $20+ on everyday shirts and such for fucking 3 year olds who will outgrow them in 4 months. Not my problem though.

>Think of all the situations you have repressed and objectively observe them with the question "is this normal?" in your mind.
Well no doubt it wasnt ideal in the sense that I was never raised in stable surroundings and there were a lot of awkward moments where our relative poverty and lack of care from our mother came into contrast with those of my peers in school but at least nobody was raping or beating me as a child.
If I explore this further and find it at the route of my mental problems with other peoples money today, what is there to gain from it? I always knew we were poor growing up in every sense, emotionally and monetarily, though it wasnt until adulthood did I realise what real poverty looked like and a better understanding of my childhood wont change what I've experienced since.
When I was sleeping rough and having to deal with junkies, criminals, niggers etc on the daily, sums as low as $20 could make or break me, compared to those days my childhood was an idyllic paradise. Compared to those days my shitty life a 1000 miles away now is a paradise.

The more I think about it, it is psychological, its a combination of trauma and dissociation, so there must be a solution. Even though I never impose myself on others regarding this, I do want both what others are given freely like a petulant child and for those people to realise how bad things can really be for their own benefit, so they never end up spiraling down like I did.
