Just because companies are starting to learn how to integrate doesn’t mean the network is going to be meaningfully decentralized tomorrow. There will be a long bootstrapping phase

We are about to enter a speculative frenzy in link, maybe even hitting $50 but we will crash back down hard after. Nothing is production ready yet and mass adoption isn’t coming tomorrow

The implication of that google blogpost is you don't have to own LINK tokens to use Chainlink. Anyone can access the opensource software and run their own Chainlink cluster on cloud platforms like Google Cloud. In conclusion LINK tokens are worthless.
