Therefore, you should trade on your perception of the world and if you happen to be lucky enough, you'll have that golden view of the world that enables your wealth

well elon im glad you asked. share holders who hold less than 100 shares forfeit their shares in a less than legal practice i like to call theft. thats right big companies steal your shares because your some poor faggot who cant get 200 shares and then they divide them up among top executives

now i know what your saying "thats not true i can trust microsoft" ... pfffaHAHahhahaha they make patches that suck so you have to get the new os and it was so common that when it came time to fuck every one with windows 7 so they bought windows 8 two out of 3 windows users has shut off automatic updates

the feds forced them to stop a few times because they had the nerve to steal a bunch of shares from some one who can afford good lawyers. but the practice still happens with sub 100 shares per person

so if you dont have even 100 shares dump that shit do not hold for longer than a month

My name is Jerome, and I hate every single one of you. All of you are poor, retarded, degenerates who spend every second of their day looking at stupid ass charts. You are everything bad in the the economy. Honestly, have any of you ever gotten any dividends? I mean, I guess it's fun making fun of people because of their gambling addictions on weekly options and chinese scam stocks, but you all take to a whole new level. This is even worse than buying CHWY at $39.

Don't be a stranger. Just hit me with your best shorts. I'm pretty much perfect. I am Chair of the Federal Reserve of the United States, and hand picked by President Trump. What investments do you make, other than "buying the BYND dip because of muh share structure and epic short squeeze"? I also get mad gains, and have a banging hot interest rate (I just did some rape hikes; Shit was SO crash). You are all faggots who should just liquidate your portfolios and apply for a job at McDonald's. Thanks for listening.

I got wrecked pretty bad on my bioshit position with TBP (otc is TBPMF). See, it just so happened that a short form prospectus preliminary approval was leaked on SEDAR (Canadian publicly traded company legal document site) eight minutes prior to close. The stock was already under heavy short pressure and this leak broke the dam. The prospectus isn't even for that much money but it spooked an already scared herd of cats. Pic related is the hourly for today.

Not a super cool way to see the day close when you're long. After three years trading bioshit with about 20% of my portfolio, I'm about to the throw in the towel on this sector. The risk on the companies is something I am fine with taking on, but the manipulation and slime that goes on with small cap stocks is just too much.

If you want to be an accountant or something for a job instead of an engineer, switch majors, but depending on where you are with MechEng it's 99% better to stick with it.

!!! Depends 99% on what connections you have to go with to get a good job out of college, which only you know. Focus on that part #1 -> what should you do now to guarantee good job prospects in the future (based on who you know or who you might meet, and what you enjoy doing). then go from there.

But to be an investor/trader, you don't really need to take classes. but you do need to study a lot, gather information, paper trade, real trade, research a bunch, etc.

But uhhh I think it is the kind of thing where if everyone is doing it, you can see the yields get pushed really hard one way or another.
maybe boomer pensions
Like at this point when we get down to a 2% yield you would think the enthusiasm would taper off and the 'smart' financial people would say, "hmm, maybe there is something better to buy". But it seems to spiral out of control instead. stupid FOMO bond auctions

College is a scam. Our edu system is a joke. Some cuck goes to college, walks out up to his ass in debt even before they get a decent home or car and a job. Then they're forced to spend almost half there working lives paying off the college debt, paying off the house/car and somehow putting enough back to "retire" on down the road. I honestly don't see how any young kid does it anymore.

Never mind that half the shit in college your forced to pay for is shit that you won't ever use in the real world unless your a scientist or history buff or some other high up specialty. Or that "paper" you bust your ass to get will end up in a box never seen again once you land the first job. Oh and that the value of that "paper" is declining each year due to more people getting that paper every class that gets kicked out earns. (But the costs will only go up)

I'm not buying anything now except bond ETFs and cryptocurrency. S&P could go up another 5% or even 10%, but it's not worth the risk.

There's not enough real liquidity to prop the market up once selling starts. The only thing that could potentially stop a crash is the government market buying stocks, Japan style. Which kills the economy long term, but they might do it anyways to save boomer pensions.

(for individual assets and indices): do you understand what overbought and oversold are, and some possible indicators to use to find overbought and oversold conditions?

(in general): the market is turning week-to-week on trade war news. It's just a fact. You can't see this stuff coming, if anyone says they can they're lying. So you have to be strong and steady. You have to build a robust position that will do well when things get choppy. not too exposed to equities, beta controlled.

If it's tough, then just buy SPLY/QYLD/SLVI/GLDO in 40/40/5/5 with 10% cash and forget about it.

crypto is primarily manipulated, but the non-manipulated parts are all TA
so if you want to try and 'time' crypto and make it out ahead, you either need to know when the big buys and sells are going to be (unironically like 75% of the big crypto moves the past year are just people smuggling money, mostly out of china), or you need to just try all-chart TA and then get mad when things get wild out of nowhere

want a dumpster fire you can short to the moon?
want a risky potential moonshot, that has a 90% of tanking, but a 10% chance of making you millions?

for what its worth id say buy a share of SPY or DIA (good index ETF's that pay good dividends), or just buy a share of LMT. its steady, stable, nice juicy dividend, and long term they will be around for a while, because military contracts

plus theres a slim (nonexistant) chance that they could make viable nuclear fusion for energy generation, which would cause some wonderful things, not just with the stocks price

perhaps, i cant talk, i bought most of my defense stocks in 2016 (i think one of my LMT shares was actually bought on election day), so that could be why theve been so well to me

then again, i remember winning a paper trading assignment in highschool econ class buy just "buying" one LMT share and keeping the rest cash (LMT was $60 or so back then, fuck why didnt i start investing sooner...)
we had $80 to paper trade with, most people went for penny stocks and throwing every bit of money they had into cheap stocks. the one LMT share wasnt really a strategy (it was just a company i wanted to work for that i picked due to laziness), but I ended up getting the best returns because it went up $20 on its own (next best returns in the class was $5 total profit, a good 2/3 of the class ended up negative)

nice! i have some hand me down rifles n pistols (and one hunting rifle that actually was bought by me for me)

I have a 22 rifle, and a 22 revolver, that are both very fun to shoot cans in the country side with, but i havnt used em in a while because ammo scarcity (and probation for possession of dudeweed means i had to give up shooting in general for a year or so). never used a blackpowder gun, although one of my hand me down shotguns is a little over 90 years old, bolt action 12 gage shotgun, has a nice kick. well i have another old one too, but its not in fireable condition because it was a farming gun from the 20's, so its seen some use (and heavy wear n tear)

if i had never seen /k/ or some of those prepper shows id say it was an easy artificial scarcity.

How the hell much do they increase the cost of bullets?

It's a good idea though, I think Chris Rock had a riff on making bullets really expensive during one of his old specials. Makes sense if you want to curb driveby shootings and such.

I wish we could do that, and then have an exception for shooting range ammo. If you're buying and using it at the range, then your bullets are tax exempt.

Can the dems really make them cost THAT much more?

Anyone knows a gold derivative ?
Let's say I want to put my money in gold but with a better ratio than 30% profit in 10 years how do I do ?
I don't want to long / short since it has expiration dates.
Just want to throw my savings at a gold asset with better ratio, any idea ?
(Smth like TQQQ for SPX)

Somebody just posted a greentext that I wrote about 2 years ago on /b/, and I had completely forgotten about it.
I tried to force it in a fuck ton of YLYL threads but nobody seemed to think it was hilarious, so I just kind of forgot about it.
I had no idea how the fuck to feel, so I'm blogposting about it here.

With marekts at almost new ATH, I can see Trump putting tariffs on EU or more pressure on China and we see a pullback again.
Then he just manipulates the news cycle like he has been doing in the past and markets rally for a new bullgasm.
He has it easy at this point tho. DAX and China markets are much weaker than US market.

Here's my two ideas:

1. You hold until G20 and hope that China rocks the markets as a fuck you to Trump.

2. You get out now, go TQQQ until G20. You might make up 15%. See what happens at G20, see what happens after that.

Student debt does fuck up a lot of people and it's also made worse that people are conditioned to think these are the best years of their life and they deserve to use their loan money for $6 Starbucks and $20 worth of prepared meals a day. Never be afraid to take profit anon. The money isn't real until it's in your account. AMD is extremely volatile -- unless there's a bull run in progress it usually sinks in the morning after open until the afternoon / after hours when it recovers somewhat.

Right now we're recovering from a dip so there may be some more money to be made, but if you aren't diversified enough to eat a loss then take at least some profit now, IMO. I am long AMD with around 1,500 shares; I think it's a great long-term buy.
