Depends on the type of accommodations they're willing to pay for. If you aren't paying a mortgage on a house or condo, you really shouldn't be shelling out more than 26% or so of your net monthly. Paying off something in your name is different, you can just rent it out and let it be self sufficient.

internet in the country isn't great. it's comparable to ADSL in the US. I get 20 mb/s down, 1 mb/s up for about 25 bucks a month(comes with a cellphone plan too with unlimited talk/text and 5gb data.) for what it's fine.

as for the biz, i do some consulting work, program some stuff for clients in the US. get paid in USD convert to local currency. if you can make 20-30K a year online that's the equivalent of 100k per year in these areas.

if you haven't been around e. europe long enough you should check it out. there is this thing called the "babushka network" where you have 100's of grandmothers who shame people. if you do something in the country, trust me, everyone will find out. i don't do stupid shit, only date chicks that are worthy of marriage material. i dont want to get get impaled by some farmer here. outside of that, you can hire these people to work on your land. i pay some dude 30$ a day to do gardening and manual labor work because I am too busy w/ the biz.


oh did i mention that major cities nearby condos go for 50k-100k for a 2bed 1 bath? you can live the city + farm life. for all in < 150k. Canadians and Burgers get triggered by this.
