From 2015:

Wedbush Securities predicted GBTC to hit $40 in 2016:

> We believe bitcoin and its associated blockchain technology have the potential to disrupt the existing financial infrastructure over the next few years. We believe the value of the bitcoin currency (BTC) will benefit from this trend and therefore are initiating coverage of GBTC with an OUTPERFORM rating and US$40 price target

It hit over $3,000 in 2017. Related image of a boomer's IRA that had over $1 Million in December 2017

Get some GBTC in your 401K/IRA and avoid crypto taxes Anon

Listen zoomer faggot, I am sure I hold more BTC in timelocked addresses than you'll ever see in your life. But it also makes sense to on Bitcoin in ROTH 401K/IRA accounts to have parabolic tax free growth. Plus, people generally don't have tens of thousands of cash lying around in non-retirement accounts. But yeah, stay poor living with Mommma faggot.

>XBTE

I had some but it was a pain to trade. You can't do it online in the US. You have to call the foreign exchange desk and they have to place an order to buy or sell before the Nasdaq Nordic closes in the morning. I used to be able to do this online until the SEC put a stop to this for some reason.
