Working at Big4 as tax consultant, ask me anything.

>25 years old
>150k/year
>40 hours/week, very rarely longer/weekends
>more than 5000 people working at my office
>250k employees worldwide, huge network
>co-workers commute to work in Porsches, AMG-GT, Audi RS6 and other high class cars
>I drive a BMW M4
>promotion next year to 200k/year

Feels good because I achieved it through hard work. Lots of people are rich because of luck or gambling/lottery and I'm happy for them. The problem is that they don't know how to handle that much money and end up in a lot of debt. Do it right and invest into something that'll last you a lifetime. 150k while working 40 hours? You are lying. This is not possible in Germany.
Im working at a magic circle law firm and the starting salary is 120k, some law firms even pay 140k at the beginning. You have to work 57 hours a week on average though.

Also not true. At my law firm (in FFM) some people are working 14 hours a day, and this is no exception. Most work at least for 11 hours.
Espacially in FFM a lot of people in the financial sector work their butts off. I cant believe this is different at KPMG or the other consultant firms.
