One of the benefits of Cryptocurrency is that it is trustless. You don't have to trust a 3rd party to facilitate your transaction, it just works. When you have a crypto that is backed by something now you have to trust a 3rd party. It's bullshit. Just buy gold if you want gold and just buy crypto if you want crypto or both if you're smart.
