Just wait until the FED starts purchasing securities when we enter negative interest rates and high inflation via MMT.

They're a way to consolidate capital into centralized hands to more easily manipulate and control the market to cover up for monetary policy failures utterly ruining the markets in the process and surprising no one with any understanding of markets when they totally collapse, especially given the fact that additional deleterious microstructure changes take place along side this typically.

Do the banks actually own them, or are they owned by clients that have their retirement IRAs/401ks/whatever Japan's equivalent is? Broker-Dealer registration of client assets is common, and if that's the case this guy is trying to make he's intentionally FUDing.

this. Can't wait for the fed to just start printing money and buying all the fucking assets to keep the economy afloat and also completely fucking over the value of the dollar at the same time

SURELY this will work out. You can't go in debt forever, its the law of fucking nature. Sooner or later the chickens gonna come home to roost. Better to put a small fire out than a big one. But it's too late now.

>you can't just go into debt forever
The entire system is based on going into debt forever. The US owes more as debt than there is USD in existence, and in order to pay off the debt, the US has to borrow more money... The entire point of the Fed is to just print money to give the US infinite money that it can do as it pleases with, and then to use inflation to inflate away the debt into nothing.
It's all a sham
