Put the shittiest crop/plant you can find.
Government pays you annually for you planting trees and what not.
You can make tens of thousands each year doing jack shit.

You basically buy into it, then allow it to build wealth, then dump itonto the next schmuck. Dividends are the best though. You do fuck all, the money keeps rolling in.

>> No.13820711

it doesn't really matter if it crashes if all you care about is income

rough example, buy place for 150k, rent for 1k/month, that's 8% roi. if market crashes and house is worth 75k, you still make 1k/month. rent theoretically could drop but this hasn't happened in the data we have (dates back to 1960)

Pretty regulated
But the catch is that when you're planting trees like let's say oak or pine, you can wait 10-20 years, get the funds each year and cut them off and get a massive profit of your investment.
It's a safe investment regardless.
You just need to find the land and buy it, the land is cheap compared to Western Europe/U.S.
It's minimum investment for the returns you get. Look into it.

Look at T, KMI, MO if you want relatively safe passive income. An even split of that will get you about 5.7% of your money per year, which is about 8-9k per year. However, i would uninronically put that all into BNB. BNB gives (essentially) a dividend of 25% per quarter through ""stock""" (token) buybacks, and here is the catch: you can pay ~14 % long term capital gains instead of paying your tax bracket every time a divvy payment rolls out. Stock buybacks are basically a tax incentived dividend and a more efficient means of returning capital to shareholders.

Just as an example, one of the largest "big dogs" is Metlife, which is a s&p 100 component and has a 4% dividend. Industry average is closer to 3%. Some medium and smaller companies will have larger yields, but this is not typical. If you want to invest in a smaller cap based purely on yield there are stocks like GECC that yield 10-12%, plus have higher growth potential.

I like Fidelity. E*Trade is pretty good too.

If you're planning to buy and hold (which is what you should do), then you shouldn't worry about the transaction fees, and Fidelity or E*Trade is the way to go.

If you plan to actively trade (which you shouldn't do), then transaction fees matter and you should consider Robinhood. However, Robinhood lacks a lot of functionalities that more-established platforms have, such as trading OTC and international stocks.
