Shelley was supposed to release in Q1 2018. After many delays the new DEFINITE deadline was Q1 2019 ("but probably sooner!"). Weeks before the deadline the snake oil salesman repeatedly said everything was going according to plan. Q1 comes and passes, without a word on the update. Total radio silence. No explanation given how Shelley went from "Mainnet is going to be absolutely ready in two weeks" to "Testnet might be ready in a few months". The roadmap deleted. Late April suddenly a word, they will release another whitepaper. Nothing about the delays. Now they are sneakily trying to promise a TESTNET "before the year is over."

This shit is so obviously a scam. IOHK is going to delay it until their contract expires in 2020, and run off without legal consequences. I had some hope until they pulled this one.
