Euro blacks are way different from American blacks. Probably because they ended slavery like centuries before the US did, and they didn’t have those weird selective breeding things.

Also they treat their lower classes better and don’t have firearms everywhere for a gangster culture to develop.

So, if a company whose stock trades at 10 dollars announces a 1 dollar dividend, the stock price will rise to 11, and then when the dividend is distributed, it'll drop back down to 10? Are there ever cases where it doesn't completely drop down, or doesn't completely rise up? And if that's the case, what about companies that reliably distribute dividends? Sold a ratio strangle in OIH on Apr 25 in the Jun expiration, two 17 puts and one 18 call for $1.73. The stock goes against me pretty much every day down to 15 by May 13. Quite big falls in the market the last 2 or three sessions, quite a big spike in IV. So this trade is down significantly. Couple of hundred bucks at points.

Bought back the 18 call and sold two 15 calls in order to make the delta on the position more manageable, reduce risk etc. Collected $1.20. At this point I notice the spread Is now trading for around 2.91 while I've collected 2.93. I'm thinking what the hell.

Made a few checks at that point and decided to wait until tomorrow, maybe something on the platform will update.

Next day fairly decent bounce in the market IV drops a bit and now the spread is trading a bit lower and I buy it back for $2.64. Somehow actually still making a profit on a position that had been going hard against me.

Still not sure exactly what happened there. I mean that kind of mechanic is called reverse gamma scalping and I guess that, combined with the pop in implied volatility, and the large credits received was enough to more than cover the width of the inverted strangle.

>We’re rallying from Trump’s tweet where all he told us was that trade talks haven’t broken down. This isn’t a rally worth chasing.
Trump wish it haven't broken down. Yes negotiation is still possible, but China is now reverting all of their previous promises and renegotiate from the ground up. Unless China back track which is impossible given what they have said to their citizens, there's no way a deal can be reached within a month.

The actual growth of the account with respect to the underlying‘s price (at expiration) is the same either way, but yea selling puts is technically better due to parity. In reality, I think because of maintenance margin, selling calls is better (on a real broker, not RH) because then you‘re not locked up waiting to buy shares and can shuffle around cash to buying other shit instead. That part is awfully broker specific though. Robinhood isn‘t too bad considering commissions, which fucks most traders up even after accounting for margin benefits on collateral.

Yeah, but what about anon who's buddy swears the stock has been black-listed. Don't you know what black-listed means? It means no one's going to buy it, even if they're getting buried in their short positions. Even if the company doubles profits and adds 17 new drugs to their portfolio, NO ONE WILL BUY IT. It's black-listed. These lawsuits that will be finished sometime in the next decade are going to marginally disrupt a company that's barely destroying its own previous quarter in profits. LCI shills need to just accept it. It's over and LCI is dead.

Good day. +3.85%. Was over 4% until Cresco dropped a percent in the last 15 minutes. Still down a bit from last week but not bad. Gonna go wildlife photographing later this week, picked up a fresh box of bear bangers from camping store earlier as my last set fell in some water and are probably no longer reliable (I live in grizzly country).

Bear bangers are flares that make noise instead of fireworks. Very effective bear spookers. I use them in a blank gun so I can shoot bear banger then immediately make additional noise with .380 blanks. POP-HISS-BOOM-POPOPOPOPOP.

Is there a way to filter stocks by specific indicator values? For example, I regularly use Ergotic MACD and RSI. I want to find stocks that have an Ergotic MACD slope value of zero and a positive value, and I want the RSI to be very low (20-30 range).
