I wasn't around for mt. gox, but I see very many similar signs.

However the major difference here, is the environment has completely changed.

There are way more companies and lots more money that will look to take bitfinexs market-share. There could be a land-grab so to speak.

If things go badly, I expect many people to trade their USDT for BTC, I think some other stable coins will absorb some of the market-share but this could seriously shake things up.

I'm not sure how the larger companies will move their funds.Anyways,
