I want to one day do this from a computer at home and never have to wageslave again. It is a lifetime dream of mine but I'm not sure of the steps to achieve it. Maybe you can provide some guidance. I like to trade forex, people say it's difficult though.

I have been trading for a year and have been losing money. Give me some insight, some wisdom that I will not understand until I experience it myself. I want to hear it anyway.

Everything will be in a downtrend the next two months. Bitcoin will retrace exactly to the weekly 200, though 4,700 as a closer mean reversion pivot is reasonable as well.
>>13449794
Read books. Macro to micro and volatility illuminated by mark whistler.
>>13449796
Active downtrend. I don't recommend holding active downtrends.

All my indicators are derivatives of bollinger bands. Everything on that chart is just a bollinger band reading, albeit with very specific reasoning behind each setting.
>>13449806
You should have access to my google doc of resources yeah?
>>13449920
retrace to the weekly 200. Enter leveraged longs when there's sustained trend above the weekly 50 MA
>>13450152
Great question. Mean reversion conditions from the longest over expanded period IMPLY mean reversion to that mean, but that's actually not guaranteed. All the condition means is that it will trade laterally as defined by that period's 1.25 standard deviation as long as it's wave PM reading is above the 0.7 value. Traveling to the mean is just a biproduct of that lateral move. It's rare when it doesn't hit, but I got burned on that trade. chart related.

Why do you sell indicators like Wave PM when they aren't even your indicators? They belong to Mark Whistler, and he even gives his indicators away for free. Seems disingenuous to me.

Our port of WAVE PM has 6 different calculations of standard deviations to choose from and 10 different types of moving averages to form the basis, in addition to weighted directional coloring with variable look back length for determining direction. These features are sufficiently derivative to be its own independent script and are far beyond anything originally offered by Mark’s original script, in addition to the work required to port the basic script into pine from scratch to begin with.

Caring about the future of cryptocurrency is a fool's errand. The only reason I choose to trade crypto is the lack of fundamentals and high price volatility. I'm a short term swing trader, I know very little about the actual tech of what cryptocurrencies and could care less about its long term success as it won't affect my bottom line.

which resources are you using to learn? Have you done the baby pips course yet? You'd be surprised how many "competent traders" don't even learn the basics.

Also read this before you commit to any TA strat.
