If you have skills that are in demand, just post your resume to Monster or careerbuilder or whatever and some recruiters will reach out to you.

If you have no skills. Go to McDonald's or Walmart or whatever and ask for a job application.

What do you do when you have a compsci degree and an optimized resume but no work experience?
Do you just starve and die, because I think you just starve and die.
90% of the jobs available online are senior level and the rest want work experience. I've applied to hundreds of jobs as well as sent in my resume to recruiters/headhunters, had people help with my resume, but I never get any calls or emails.

Nepotism. I got my current job because my friend is a manager. He wrote up the job description so that it was literally describing my exact skillset. When his boss interviewed me he was amazed at how qualified I was.
