Deposit them both as if nothing were a mistake. If payroll asks for the money back, tell them everything looks good on your end and you don't believe there was any mistake. If their lawyer sends you a letter, return the money. It may not be worth it for them to get a lawyer to send a letter. Don't overthink it.
