The debate of blocksize is gaining majority
Lightning network is the only sensible scaling method
All alts are temporary chains until bitcoin absorbes them

As eos eth bch etc... grow to unsustainable blocksize and centralize
Low IQ alties begin to wake up

Dunning-kruger. If you honestly don't think the people who designed next-gen dapp platforms foresaw this issue and that they're all just one day going to stop working you have a single digit IQ.

Their focus isn't maintaining a decentralized network
it's onloading as much crap as they can to make as much money as they can off idiots like you
Which isn't a bad strategy because it works until it doesn't
Talk about dunningkruger lol

You make the exact same arguments that nocoiners make about bitcoin. You aren't describing reality. You're describing the reality that you wish were true.

This but unironically. Most of the very large cryptos will probably pump with BTC, but I honestly don't think most of the alts outside the top 14 will ever recover. Not even close. And alts have a lot more downside risk.. I wouldn't be surprised to see BTC move to 10-15k over the next 1-2 years and most alts stay (almost) flat/bleed out/pump <50%.
I have been in crypto for many years and made a lot of money from alts/ICOs, but I sold off almost all of them during 2018. Most of my portfolio is in BTC, LTC, ETH and the BTC forks (suicide insurance). I honestly think a "normie portfolio" like this is the way to go for the next few years. If you want to gamble it open I would just margin long with reasonable leverage instead of buying useless alts.
There might be another alt/ICO bullrun in a couple of years, but I highly doubt it will focus around existing alts. If it happens, it will probably be because blockchain/smartcontract technology has reached a point where it's starting to see real use cases on a very large scale. Almost all of the of the current alts and their visions will be outdated.
I'm not an insider or anything like that, but I know quite a few medium sized whales and most of them agree..
