College is great and I'm extremely grateful I'm able to attend. Made it very easy to get a great job (2 offers from internships, never actually applied to one). Also made me capable of much better critical thinking, and this won't apply to everyone but I graduated valedictorian effortlessly so college taught me modesty through putting me in contact with equally intelligent people. Finally, I've had loads of opportunities for internships, and the respect you get from adults (I go to a prestigious one) is great.

I was a hardcore socialist at university, a Trotskyist who for example criticized the union movement for not being working-class-focussed enough. Then, like everybody else, I graduated, had to shit-eat my way up the corporate ladder while witnessing the impotence and failure of government and central planning and paying 30 cents on the dollar to a nanny-state.
