Even if this was a mockup (which is normal not to have full functionality or be pretty) this is what you do in your second programming class in college after you've gone through the 101 course. Its not difficult for someone of his (supposed) caliber. So it should be a lot better.

But with that being said I wouldn't be surprised if that this is either a chapter project from a programming book or just taken from the internet. I would guess its the former because creg does know a little programming. BUT the reason he does this is because it reinforces his followers belief that he's an actual computer scientist and not a conman. Seeing something like this appeases people who don't know programming because this seems really difficult. So it affirms their belief that he actually is satoshi and actually did create bitcoin so if they follow him they'll be rich like the first round of people who did.

This is what cult leaders like creg do, and its pretty easily to spot the behavioral patters, same with his rabid fans reactions to anyone implying that he's actually not god (satoshi in this case). I just feel bad for his followers because I could see how he could be compelling to people who are really looking for that sort of thing. When this plays out and BSV does go to zero they'll be hurt, embarrassed and broke. So cut them so slack when that happens.
