STR is the one of the few and worst coins you can short on poloniex, on july 5th all str holder will recieve a bonus of str if they have a btc wallet, which means people are going to dump on that date as well, and the coin really has no future.

I borrow 5 coins off of you. I sell 5 coins for 10 dollars each, and have 50 dollars. The price of coins fall and fall. When our deal is up, and i have to pay back the 5 coins i borrowed, a coin costs 2.5 dollars. I buy 5 coins for 12.5 dollars and give them back to you, making 37.5 dollars in the process. The volume is low but it's not close to zero. Daily volume is close to $17,000. Stagger your short orders and you can also set the price a bit lower than it is to guarantee a fill.
