breakout time! edition

>I'm new to the stock market, what stocks should I buy?
Before you buy anything, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.

So I bought some a while back after doing a little research because I thought it was a cool idea “lets turn waste water in to fuel” but after the rs I dug deeper and even though I want it to go up so I can get rid of my bags I feel inclined to let everyone know what I found. So magnegas was “invented” by this guy Ruggero Maria Santilli, who wikipedia considers a fringe scientist, now I dont like to shit on people that go against the scientific norm because that is where breakthroughs come from, but this guy absolutely did not go about it the right way. Which makes his claims incredibly suspicious. He only publishes his findings in his own controled jornals with co authors that may or may not be him using aliases. He claims this magnegas is composed of hydrogen that has undergone a new type of molecular bond that no other independent institution (that he doesn’t own as far as I can tell) has been able to demonstrate. This is absolutely not the way that science should be conducted and makes me incredibly suspicious of his claims. Does that mean magnegas is bullshit? I don't know potentially, maybe he is onto something and really is a genius who is being “suppressed by mainstream science” but that seems very unlikely. I’m not a physicist, but I do work as a research scientist in biology and these kinds of paradigm shifting claims that magnegas is based on need to backed up by significant independent study.

Exactly. And you would expect the first company (MagneGas) to bring something so groundbreaking to market would be incredible profitable and disruptive. This stuff has been around for a while, and the company has been hemorrhaging money for years. Maybe the problem is the guy doesn’t know how to run a business. But I would expect something that uses brand new physics to make something with more energy density than normal chemistry, that burns hotter and cleaner would essentially sell itself. Every scientist I know would love for some cool new breakthrough to happen, but would need a mountain of evidence to accept it. Maybe the “scientific elite” has been blocking him from publishing in real jornals and suppressing all these other scientists from publishing their papers confirming his ideas. But I think it is far more likely this guy is a charlatan. And that does not bode well for MNGA

Fake news, MNGA did a 21-1 reverse split.

So at .21 with it dropping even more ~20% today your shares sold today were really worth .16 cents

Reverse split is NEVER good and usually ALWAYS results in stock dropping heavily after Reverse Split

Please explain how you made $500 profit.. you would have to buy in at .10 cents or so

Right now it's all about finding the dominant companies and having the capital and patience to ride it out. I have about 6k total in dude weed total, Canopy Growth, Canopy Rivers and Quinsam (a micro banking solution/financing firm for dude weed Canada, pays a 2% div.) I got in early in most of this, I know it'll be up big in 10 years, but anyone who pretends to know what will happen in the mean time is full of shit.

fucking capped desu
this whole industry is such a fucking shitshow
the REAL money is gonna come from industrial production of hemp as various materials alternatives, but all these stupid faggots are focusing exclusively on the rec market without factoring in:
>1) black market grow ops can still undercut them hard
they have decades more exp, better, cheaper distribution (for now), and dont pay taxes. not to mention most legislation comes with stipulations that allow growing your own. many rec smokrs do this already, and with the criminal charges out of the way, certainly more will join in.
>2) the rec market will not grow simply because of legalization.
the medical market MIGHT, but thats not where many have all their eggs rn
>3) stiff competition.
theres dozens of these companies and theyre all trying for this same market share (which is currently hard to gauge due to its illicit status in many places). ultimately, likely only one or two companies currently will survive this initial landgrab
>4) the financing
the financing on ALL of these companies is a fuckng nightmare. theyve all borrowed as much as they can to get an edge over one another (no doubt at some ugly rates). they need BIG revs and FAST, or dilution, r/s, and all number of other nasty surprises await them going into next year imo

meanwhile, the hemp memes are basically non-existent. hemp is WAY easier to grow, legal in many more places, and can be used extremely effectively to replace all manners of different types of materials, from plastic, to fabric etc... and at SIGNIFICANTLY lower costs

Its pure FUD bullshit "news" about how ACB is a shitty investment because some already established US company isnt holding their hand or dumping money in their pockets.
Best example of this is Motley Fool. Every fucking article is about how fucking great CGC is and some of the stuff they say makes sense until you read that they also have been backing constellation brands for a decade so of course they are gonna shit all over the competetion. The fact that aurora has come as far as it has without being almost bought out by wall street to me says a lot about their long term potential and business smarts.
