One single miner can destroy the network via DDoS with 500 GPUs at no cost [13] [14]. A critical attack vector never seriously addressed by the Nano dev team. Having the problem highlighted to them, admitting to it, their response has been the usual -to promise and deflect -without providing any real technical solution. Nano is wide open for a massive spam attack crippling the network for a long time. This also scares the Coinbase experts; a total crash in Nano, via spam vulnerability and insane node issues, will reflect badly on Coinbase.

Nearly all of the Bitconnect community moved over to Nano after Bitconnect crashed, when they heard the lies that Nano has 7 000 TPS. At that time that was impressive. You really don't understand anything. The first layer is all about security and nobody cares about TPS. Nano was all made for speed/TPS and cut corners like crazy. Among the worst coins in regards of security and stability. So you are admitting that Nano must have a second layer? How will Nano compete with de facto a single dev, that was not even full time Nano employed 1.5 years ago, against Ethereum.

Nano has not even started with their second layer approach and is years behind competitors. If Nano needs a second layer, you are doomed. There is no way you can compete. The highest we've seen so far in a decentralized and secure environment is 10K TPS from Zilliqa, but even this was on testnets and not in mainnet conditions. The projects who claim to have 1M TPS are literal scams or just sacrifice security big time.


Nano is a decent project but "decent" isn't enough, I suspect that even the "Nano killer" (Algorand) isn't revolutionery enough to push this space foward, Crypto isn't looking good short-mid term imo.
