Is this shitcoin dead? Everyone is leaving, core dev Zack, main community manager Troy. Multiple lawsuits, community constant and pathological lying about amazon, BoA, paypal etc soon going to use Nano. Also lying abut 7000 TPS. Coin discovered and pushed by Italian scammers. Devs and their friends took millions of USD out off Bitgrail, when it withdrawals were closed for everyone else. Nano community is toxic and nasty, worst in crypto. Flawed shitcoin is wide open for spam attacks.

dude that happens for any coin.

Development on nano is ongoing and many improvements are being made, it all looks very good and it's going to have a massive moon at some point.

there's nothing Bitconnect 2.0 about NANO.

all the bad actors left and it was bomber who was the real scammer. also this shit is 2 years old who the fuck cares about some kind of Mt.gox happening on NANO. ,i'd never be able to pick up at these cheap prices if it wasn't for the whole bitgrail fiasco.

The tech works
The security is not proven yet, but they have anti spam measures and its pretty useless to spam the nano network as you will just spam your own local chain, nothing else.

they have Epoch blocks, great improvements, all around.

you can fud all you want, I have used over 20 coins and this is one of the easiest and fastest.

it's a risk obviously since it's DAG tech and all new and not like the other chains, but that's where the value is, if it succeeds, it's gonna moon so hard I'll never have to work again.

if it doesn't, it was still a good shot .

You have no idea what you are talking about.

One single miner can destroy the network via DDoS with 500 GPUs at no cost [13] [14]. A critical attack vector never seriously addressed by the Nano dev team. Having the problem highlighted to them, admitting to it, their response has been the usual -to promise and deflect -without providing any real technical solution. Nano is wide open for a massive spam attack crippling the network for a long time. This also scares the Coinbase experts; a total crash in Nano, via spam vulnerability and insane node issues, will reflect badly on Coinbase.

Nearly all of the Bitconnect community moved over to Nano after Bitconnect crashed, when they heard the lies that Nano has 7 000 TPS. At that time that was impressive. It will not prevent saturating the network for days/weeks.

With 756 TPS and claiming to be a global currency, it does not matter what you do. Even a 1 000% increase in TPS would not be even close to enough. Competitors are working with millions of TPS and are preparing to release within the next months. There is no way Nano can compete.

lol, NANO has the fastest base layer. all the techniques that are being implemented to make it go faster ( ETH ) can be implemented for NANO to make it go even faster.

so ETH has 30tx/sec at the base layer, nano has 700. how is that not better?

Also ETH is one big chain, NANO is DAG.

Listen buddy. all of this shit is quite a gamble, I see NANO as a chain that sticks out being special and if they solve the issues they have its gonna be great.

were there not issues on bitcoin, are there not issues right now on bitcoin? ETH can't scale, isn't that an issue, why don't you fud the shit out of ETH, it fucking sucks, a cat game can DDOS it.

you keep spouting shit around like only nano is affected but almost any of the coins right now are.

You really don't understand anything. The first layer is all about security and nobody cares about TPS. Nano was all made for speed/TPS and cut corners like crazy. Among the worst coins in regards of security and stability. So you are admitting that Nano must have a second layer? How will Nano compete with de facto a single dev, that was not even full time Nano employed 1.5 years ago, against Ethereum.
https://media.consensys.net/andrew-keys-ethereum-has-30-times-more-devs-than-the-next-blockchain-community-27980a5ddc09

Nano has not even started with their second layer approach and is years behind competitors. If Nano needs a second layer, you are doomed. There is no way you can compete. Especially not with a complete broken community after the Nano devs/management ditched and back-stabbed the Bitgrail victims, a huge and important part of the community.

TPS on second layer is independent of TPS on first layer. Second layers security is a derivative of first layers security. These are facts and not something to disagree about.

>can you read? I said i don't invest in coins that want to do second layers,
Well, then this statement of your is totally insane:
>all the techniques that are being implemented to make it go faster ( ETH ) can be implemented for NANO to make it go even faster.
So you will implement Ethereum's second layer technology on Nano's first layer? You believe you can use second layer technology on first layer? Are you insane? At least this explains why you "invest" in Nano, ie Bitconnect 2.0

While Nano investors got pic related, Nano devs and their friends moved 50 million USD out off Bitgrail, at the same time withdrawal was frozen/maintainance/KYC blocked etc for normal investors. Obviously special rules for the devs and their friends. Didn't stop them from completely ditching the Bitgrail victims after the "hack" was finally officially admitted.

The highest we've seen so far in a decentralized and secure environment is 10K TPS from Zilliqa, but even this was on testnets and not in mainnet conditions. The projects who claim to have 1M TPS are literal scams or just sacrifice security big time.

Nano is a decent project but "decent" isn't enough, I suspect that even the "Nano killer" (Algorand) isn't revolutionery enough to push this space foward, Crypto isn't looking good short-mid term imo.
