DYOR is a meme, most people on /biz/ doesn't have the necessary background-knowledge to research a particular project and then compare it to other projects, and make an informed decision on what is the "best" investment.

Then there is a small sub-population of /biz/-browsers, who are capable of doing this, who knows their "shit". It is the consensus of that group of people that the rest is piggy-backing on.

Try and browse a Chainlink thread, in particularly those that have "new information" in it. You will see a couple of posters that stand out..

I suppose every "internet-group" has these kind of people, if you go to a sub-reddit about Ether or BCH, or whatever. Then they will have a similar "organization" a small group of people in the driver seat, and the rest following behind as the cheerleader squad.

So.. you are essentially betting that the "wizards" of /biz/ are better than the "wizards" on reddit, or any other forum.
