The average man sees a stock that everyone wanted at two hundred dollars or one hundred dollars. A share suddenly declines to thirty which surely is the bottom until it falls to twenty. That is absolutely the end of the crash.

Then it goes to ten; to nine; to seven. It then becomes a certainty that this stock, which a few weeks ago was selling for more than two hundred, can't go any lower. Edition.

>I'm new to the stock market, what stocks should I buy?
Before you buy anything, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks, Ratsu has the IQ of swiss cheese, and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.

Usually like 2 or 3 pretty good since you're get twice or 3 times the dividends. You do expose your self to more risk though since you're invested twice or three times as heavily. Also depends on the yield on the dividends. Some of the shit out there doesn't pay any dividends, but you can still trade it for fucking sweet gains. Sometimes your company doesn't make any money and decides against paying its dividend and everybody gets pissed off and sells the stock. I mean your question is really vague, but if you've got 100 grand in something paying a 6% dividend that's like an extra $500 per month passive income you didn't do anything for except having stake in the company you own shares of.

I mentioned it earlier. Probably the only buffett holding worth buying right now, good dividend, decent valuation, not a lot of growth opportunity but that's a given for slow consumer staples stocks

Idk senpai it keeps dropping. Also HMC, GM, TM, all have good dividends and low P/E ratios. You can see the same thing in WGO and THO, which I prefer because the recreational vehicle market has less competition.

I think their restructuring effort will pay off within the next couple of years. They're cutting costs by eliminating their cheaper cars which don't bring in a lot in profits and they're working into moving into self driving and electric vehicles.

That could be, but it's all speculative. There are much safer bets to make in the mean time.
I doubt that mainstream self driving cars will be used any time in the near future. Rhere will be so much bureaucratic red tape and regulations that it will not be profitable.
And ford makes the most off their trucks. Electric trucks are still way off.

There are no such things as “defensive stocks” and this should be a wakeup call that just like crypto when the big boys trade downwards like microsoft, apple, amazon (think bitcoin, eth, litecoin) not only do they have very similar downward graphs for weekly and monthly but they also drag the mid and small caps with them (think shitcoins, alts).

If theres one thing the crypto boom and bust taught me its that this principle is true as well in stocks. Its what convinced me to sell off nearly every stock postion I own except my index retirement fund. Especially when I saw stocks essentially trade with the same weekly movements across vast different companies. Dont get stock holding the bags you can always take money off the table and buy back in a few months out. Remember we could dump a lot and experienced a lot of bubbles recently and a wave of speculative investors through popularized apps like Robinhood, tastyworks, etc

Hype fomo retail. Fomo mania is the reason my strategy can beat the indices' whole year in a couple trading sessions sometimes. I chase bubbles, essentially; tech, battery metals in 2017, biopharma, weed, weed biopharma. American dude weed and weed biopharma are the hot sectors for now.

I don't particularly care what the hype thing is so long as it causes mass high volume buying fests on occasion that run up practically everything in the sector by 2x or more.
