Issuance reduction in less than a month. It's like BTC halving basically. Staking coming soon as well.

If you thought you had already missed out on Ethereum you have not, 2019 will be the year of ETH.

Having native stable coins is fucking INSANELY GOOD. Its god tier hacks mode. Not having native stable coins on your coin means I immediately don't want to hold it anymore. Just think about the implications. You don't need an exchange and at the press of a button you can lock the value of the coin with no need to even use an exchange. That makes an asset infinitely better as a store of value.

ETH is reaping the benefits of having native stable coin functionality and its fucking phenomenal. Don't like how things are going? Tether up with two clicks! Oh a pump is starting? Buy back in with two clicks!

As far as I can tell this is the biggest fundamental change to the crypto ecosystem since its inception. Even gold and silver cant fuck with this. You can just use a fucking dex to instantly tether or untether your shit. So if you hold ETH you basically have hacks mode enabled.

The gravity of this one feature has yet to be properly shilled I think. But it does not take a lot to figure it out.

I know, but it doesn't have tether and you wrote "tether up" plus ETH is not the only smart contract platform to have stables and when you get Atomic Swaps even if it did, it would lose all exclucivity

Bitch, the word tether is used in proper context. Learn english pajeet. Tethering up doesn't just mean the fucking coin tether.

> ETH is not the only smart contract platform to have stables and when you get Atomic Swaps even if it did, it would lose all exclucivity

ETH is the only major not shit coin that is in the top 5 that has the ability to tether its value to the USD without the need for an exchange. Its functionality essentially built into the coin itself. Also you dont need atomic swaps as Bancor gives EOS the ability to utilize Dai just as well as ETH itself. EOS just requires one additional step. Shitcoins like BTC have a harder time actually using something like DAI because transaction fees are too high and its slow and more costly to swap to ETH.

it dumped much harder than btc thanks to icos dumping at the bottom. ethereum 2.0 is basically like the launch of a new coin at this point, so i'd expect a similar run up as from fall '15 to summer '16

The "good" alts might have bottomed but Bitcoin hasn't. So if Bitcoin goes takes everyone down it would be in mainly USD value going down and not sats.

>> No.12282776

i guess you guys need it explained for you so even a literal retard can understand. eth is going to 200+ in the near future. beyond that, it's unknown. this is the only "coin" that legitimately attempts to address the scaling issue. btc has been abandoned.

Why does it matter? Just tether when its dumping and untether when its going up. Price goes down you get more coins, price goes up you get more USD.

BTC pajeets are extremely threatened by the fact that ETH has cheats enabled. Look at all of the useless fucking retorts? Not one actual argument, all just fucking losers about to get rekt into sub 2k levels and the only way out is to either keep their coins on a centralized exchange or buy ETH.

Bitch look at ETH and even EOS right now. Fuck yourself in the ass with the green dildoes the moment this market even starts to resemble a bull run. Hell even sideways and we will be looking at 30% BTC dominance within mid 2019.

If ETH get scaling solved then the sky is the limit honestly. Otherwise alternates like EOS will probably gain mass adoption. The reason I say this is that smart contracts and similar functionality actually has real world application outside of just a ponzi pump scheme. These are coins that can power social media and gaming.
