It could be worse. I spent Christmas with with my wife's family and my present was an ugly scarf. I had to pretend I liked it.

Then I had to stay up until 1 AM to place the presents under the tree. She forced me to eat a bunch of cookies and drink milk to pretend Santa Claus came by and ate the stuff she left for him. Imagine eating 5 cookies and drinking two glasses of milk at 1 AM (after filling my belly with a shitload of casserole, like a true AMERILARD). I just wante to stay under the sheets reading a book.
