Reddit is actually much less centralized than 4chan. The moderation is mostly up to the individual subreddit mods rather than the admins, so there are countless different sets of rules depending on which community you’re in. Before the Chinese woman ruined the site and they started quarantining subs it arguably had the best moderation system of any platform. It’s more censored than 4chan now but it is still less centralized.

People throw the word decentralized around a lot without having a clue what it actual means. Just because something uses a faux blockchain like steemit for example but is completely censored by the faggots who run steemit.com doesn’t make it decentralized. Same for gab and all the other retarded social media sites pretending to be about free speech.
