i used to think only degenerate gamblers shorted the market, but you can actually use it to hedge your position. like you organize an event and you don't want to get caught with half the dollar value gone, enter a margin short to make sure you don't lose usd since every expense of yours will be billed in usd for a long time. it's fucking brilliant.

yeah i understand i spend way too much time of my life on trying to understand this shitshow. my work suffers my gf suffers i lose money. it's just that i know it's a long shot but if it pans out as i hope it pans out realistically i can retire 10 years earlier. don't want to be a wrinkled old fuck at retirement. sure is invest in real estate and stocks and funds mostly but fuck that is taking me nowhere for a long time.
