bitcoin didn't invent proof of work governance if it was actually stable against deception we'd have manifestations of it in real life

exchanges and ABC have made it quite clear that they don't respect proof of work. they declared ABC the winner just a day after the hash war had started and even if the SV chain catches up to the ABC chain now SV still won't become BCH in their eyes. checkpoints is a big middle finger to anybody that believe the miners vote with their hashpower and for fucks sake, Amaury Séchet were talking about changing the hashing algorithm even before the hash war had begun.
