Hello, /biz/. I hope I'm not in the wrong place for making such a thread. 19 y.o zoomer here. By a stroke of serendipity starting from /pol/ and "redpills" to self-improvement books, I was struck by a lighting of realization : I don't want to end up poor. Or living a "normal" life, working 9 hours a per day *5 each week until retirement, bound by material desires and excessive hedonistic consumption. I want to escape modern slavery or what's commonly called the rat race, and make it to put my family and myself at safety. That's it for the degenerate and pretentious blogpost. I feel like having a better understanding of economic concepts, finance and crypto are key factors to reach my goals. Especially crypto.

The obivious question. Where do I start in order to grasp what cryptocurrency is all about, and it's potential? Because outside of short mentions in my highschool economic lessons, (nothing more than introductory stuff) we weren't told much about it except that it's decentralized, does not rely on a bank/middleman and supposedly anonymous. (BTC was the exemple they were using.) What I'm looking for here is information to understand, have a clearer picture in mind and make decisions by myself, mostly. I started lurking yesterday and blindly tried to follow up with some discussions to no avail because of the lingo and things looked too complicated for me. The only thing I managed to grasp is that Link and BSV are shilled hard here. One thing I'm afraid of is that I blindly join a bandwagon because someone succeeded in manipulating my emotions, something I'm sure could be prevented by having knowledge.

I hope that some anons here will not mind a very little spoonfeeding. Books, videos, any resources that encourages taking the time to reflect and use logic coud be nice. Thank you for reading and sorry for the several mistakes, as I'm not used to write in English.

Develop a dapp on eos or eth or something. You will learn the concepts by working with them.
Then vote on what's important with your time attention and money.

Buy Big stocks. Amzn application nvda nflx, after they dip. Learn about meme lines and to buy at the bottom of said meme lines. Now is not a good time to go long with Trump going to war with our biggest trading partners. Warren Buffett recommends to every single person the S and P 500. Look up Robinhood trading app. No fees.

Buy quality publicly traded equities. Crypto isn't unique, it's just a collection of low-quality equities that has been disguised to look like a 'new' asset class in order to attract capital

Watch Youtube videos, like DataDash and his guides to get started.
Also, nobody knows what crypto is up to and what it's really worth. So you can make that idea for yourself or pick somebody else's opinion. Even if you learn meme lines and other useful stuff, you still can't predict it but your chances to earn something instead of losing are increased.
Also, check silver, uranium and gold right now. They are likely better players right now.
Also, everyone here wants to live a hedonistic life with lots of bitches, fast cars and expensive drugs so please respect thay.

One advice.
GET OUT
GET OUT
GET OUT

>GET OUT
You'll only find misery and loss if you believe in crypto. Fiat will not move any time soon, you'll learn by lurking here that most people only entered the markets to have gains in FIAT. No one unless activists or dealers really believe in the tech, because it's retarded. Get out. This is my last warning.

Welcome anon. Congrats on making this decision and having the willingness to learn. I myself was in your shoes a couple years ago and I started from zero knowledge of decentralized systems, consensus algorithms, blockchain and loads more. I recommend understanding bitcoin before diving into the rest of crypto as having the base understanding of what started it all will help you grasp more complex and different components of this ecosystem.
Below are a couple resources I hope will help you as they did for me:

One of the most comprehensive bitcoin resources from surface level to technical. Jameson Lopp has been a dev in the space for a while and a trustworthy source of knowledge

Since you’re a zoomers you may prefer to learn via YouTube videos. This guy right here, Andreas Antonopoulos, is one of the smartest people in the space. He can break down complex concepts to a layman or developer. Hes an eloquent speaker that really inspires in you the power of this technology.

After you understand bitcoin, what it can do and what it’s limitations are, you can look into Ethereum and smart contracts. Most new crypto coins are built on Ethereum or similar smart contract platforms.

The most important thing to know is that the state of this technology is similar to the internet in 1990. We are at the basic infrastructure building blocks level. Be wary of wild claims of what this or that coin can do as this space is full of opportunistic scammers.

Good luck

You're born too soon to properly partake in the massive bullrun that will happen with crypto being adopted by the masses.
Don't bother and leave.

>> No.11937230

In trading, you want to make sure >50% of your trades are winning trades. Your winning trades should also be at least 2x bigger than your losing trades. This reward/risk ratio is built into the technical setups. Set hard stops at or just below support. Don't risk more than 1-2% of your portfolio on any single trade if you're trading more than $2k in your portfolio.
