>remember you don’t need stocks if you don’t plan to grow old and need to save for money for your kids’s education
>you don’t need a house if you don’t plan on having kids
>you don’t need a gf/wife if you don’t plan on having kids
>you don’t need learn financial responsibility and to learn a trade if you plan on having a gf and eventually supporting a family

You should just live paycheck to paycheck, rent your whole life and just play video games all day.

its going to be fun to be that 45 year old guy that plays video games and all your friends have wife and kids. You will feel like you made it.

Sounds depressing as fuck to be honest, Anon.
Kids often mistake "fun" for "happiness" and "happiness" for fulfilment and purpose.

What if you become sick and could survive if you had 200k to pay the doctors that had to use some high success rate but on the fringe of science from some remote laboratory agent to treat your cancer?

>> No.11899786

you won't have 200k to pay doctors if you have wife and kids

if you had 200k with a wife and kids, you would have like 800k without them so your point is moot

Checked. Also I agree with this completely except I don't play video games I just like to travel and drink and do drugs and sleep with lots of women I barely know. Fuck kids. Fuck marriage. Fuck maintaining a house. Id rather eat a bullet.

Those things have become dangerous and arguably not worth the risk at this point, tho.

At least we can always hope for some kind of World War or other form of major societal shakeup and hope we're not too old by then...

>remember you don’t need stocks if you don’t plan to grow old
so you are going to kill yourself then? because you are easily going to make it to 65. thats a long ass time. you really want to be working that entire time?

>you don’t need a house
yeah, probably not. that shits a lot of hassle. a condo or commercial building on the other hand would be fantastic for a bachelor.

>you don’t need learn financial responsibility

nigga, you single guys got it made. just fucking save money and buy investment property instead of spending it on kids and a bunch of square footage you don't need. if you bust ass you can retire at 35 as landed NEET gentry and take sex vacations to asia once a year.

Shit, if you start young, you could do it by 30.

not really, our generation is the first to be 100% poisoned from birth with chemicals in food, we will be dropping dead between 50 and 65 from various types of cancer at an alarming rate, i think not even half of our generation will be able to get gov retirement

also the great depression will come in 2021 in USA so it will hit all the world as we know it today

Yeah as I was graduating college a kissless virgin I realized that my life is basically unsalvageable in the traditional sense, and followed the same train of logic.

>if you don't want kids, you have no reason to purchase a house or marry
>if you have no reason to marry, you have no reason to date or at least it's very difficult to because the entire point the woman is doing it in the first place is to marry and have kids
>if you have no reason to date, you have no reason to move out of your parents' house
>if you don't have any reason to move out of your parents' house, you don't have any reason to do beyond the bare minimum at your entry/mid level job or chase salaries and promotions
>the pathway to early retirement clears open and suddenly you don't need to work until 70 anymore

Yes, but also funny as hell I think is how old people try to make you care about climate change and the possibility that the world may be fucked beyond repair... AFTER they make it impractical for you to have your own children.

Like lolwut. brb, caring about the same world that did all it could to prevent me from achieving the only objective measure of success for a living thing. Sure, why not, but it's a little rich.

100% of the time, having kids is one of the most pathetic things you can do. In most cases, it's basically admitting that you've failed in life and that you're now banking on passing on enough advice to live vicariously through your hopefully successful offspring. In many other cases, it's literally just retards being retarded and having more retarded children.

There should be no point in your life where you want to just "settle." You should always be wanting more for yourself.

Wouldn't it then make equal sense to simply snort a big bag of cocaine until you dropped dead?

I mean, if you don't care about things beyond your death, it seems just as valid as any other choice but a lot more efficient. If life essentially becomes a matter of manipulating your brain chemistry to feel satisfaction... wouldn't drugging yourself to death be the best COA?
I don't give two shits about working hard to build something that will just be inherited by randomers after my death. I wouldn't want to lose an hour of sleep for that.

>>11901605
Nah. I can't change reality, and the world is so over-regulated with rapist-level tax rates, laws that are designed to undermine individuals etc. that individual ability is virtually a detriment. Realistically it would be like if we judged people 50 years ago as being inadequate losers for not being able to afford 5 houses. At some point it's just not really reasonable to expect people to achieve these things. Nobody cares, laws are all for the benefit of corporations, and they'll take whatever they can while trying to prevent as many people as possible from climbing up the economic ladder.

It's not mathematically reasonable to suggest that most people can now achieve a standard of living on a par with their grandparents. Even still, you have to deal with the same boring, shit world that just keeps getting worse no matter what level of wealth you happen to accumulate by mostly random chance.

But then again... oidunnolol.
