17.4 million mined, 4, million already lost
21 million ever to be mined, in march 2020 bitcoin halving will make that even slower.
That makes it 13 million bitcoin in circulation right now.
Owning 1 bitcoin now is not even a risk now it is so cheap.
Guess what is gonna happen when Bakkt will start buying physically backed bitcoin.

Also found a study that says that 26 million
americans are invested in crypto, so only 13 million of these can own 1 bitcoin.

So Anon, do you actually own 1 real bitcoin?

at this point i think there’s more risk in not owning some bitcoin than there is in owning none. and these studies on ownership % are either inaccurate or people are poor as fuck. how can 26 million Americans alone own bitcoin when there’s probably less than 15 million btc still in circulation? the average owner must have ~$100 worth

It’s rare when it is assumed the entire planet will want one.

Fascinating theory of value, friend.

will you pay for my semen?
There is just a few million and each one is unique. Nobody is holding my semen, I will guarantee it will be dealt out in tranches and most will remain in my escrow. Deal?

> "In August last year Bitcoin died on the BTC chain with the introduction of Segwit. It survived in the form of Bitcoin Cash until yesterday when it was killed off again by Bitcoin ABC. If Bitcoin SV had not stood it’s ground and preserved the rules of Bitcoin in SV, yesterday would have been the last day Bitcoin existed in this world."

A house built on lies is a fragile house of cards. A sand castle which gets washed away with the passage of time.

The word "gaslighting" gets thrown around a lot with little regard to its actual meaning. I propose that, in light of that and also gas lights not really being a thing any longer, we change the term to "bcashing".

I own about 7 BTC, also own HOT and GNT.

BTC is the only coin that is really the least fluctuating and people are holding BTC up to form because it is the face of crypto. If that can't be more stable then the top 100 altcoins people are less likely to enter into crypto.
I think BTC is like the gold of crypto, it might not be the most cash-like crypto, but it is a store of value because it is the safest crypto investment. I look at it more as staying in BTC and then buy nano or dash or some other currency just for buying stuff with.
