Bitcoin and all other cryptos are dead; it's just that the die-hard's haven't figured it out yet.

With a 90% drop in less than a year, bitcoin can't function as a currency or a store of wealth. It can't function as a regular payment method; and it's a foolish investment. Right now, it's only good for speculators playing a complex (and eventually losing) game of musical chairs.

Had there only been 2-3 cryptos, the market may have supported them. But with over 2000 in existence right now, it has done nothing but to prove that no single crypto is special. The extra 1997 "coins" has devalued all of them.

If you dump your money into crypto, you will probably lose it all. It's just a matter of when.
