It’s been a while since I posted here. Just wanted to say I’m never selling. If you seriously think 4800 pieces of paper are worth more than the computational hours used to create the scarce unit of account known as a bitcoin, then you are just a retarded goy who will become a slave to the government in a few years. Hell most of you probably already are government slaves if you’ve indebted yourself to them to go to college aka, indoctrination camp. While your rights are slowly being eroded away by bureaucrats and your purchasing power is slowly being eroded away by Jews, I will retain the freedom to go anywhere on earth with my savings, and I will be free to purchase anything I like. Not that it really matters.
It’s not about the money, it’s about freedom from the money grubbing Jews and their central banks. 40% of America’s gdp comes from the Jews that run the world via the banking system. They do not produce any real word goods, they manipulate numbers in a computer. Bitcoin is different because nobody can manipulate those numbers without consensus. I am in bitcoin because I think the banking system is immoral and killing the world. I don’t care how many Jew papers it’s worth. 1 btc = 1 btc. Btc is freedom.

It's also why Faketoshi is such a moron - shaking out weak hands is one thing, but this is going to kill the market for good if he keeps it up. The right way to kill BTC was to just support better tech and let it fade into obscurity. the funniest or worst thing is this....

I had the theory to invest by class of coin early on sooooo

I put
20 BTC into XRP at about 7K sat
20 BTC into LTC at hmm any how got me 1400

In 2013

the only time I saw that 20BTC back was in the 2017~2018 Peak.

BUT i thought well twice burned I do trust eth.

just before the ipo for eth I met a guy who i thought was a scammer and in the eth team. I then found out the eth team had kicked him out, so i put in about 0.5 BTC, and sold out 1/2 my eth so about 500 when I could get my 0.5 btc back.

I had followed my original paln and put 20 into eth then I would have 40K eth and that $50M or so at peak.

So at the peak, even with 6M I was quite depreeesed about having a ragtag make up to 6M instead of 50M. The difference is huge, with 50M you can withdraw 30M and you don't care.

6M you risk missing out the next 10x!

so I only pulled out fractional amounts.

The other error I made was nem I went in massive an low, then sold out when I had just made small profit. down about 5M from where I should have been.

But ETH kept me up a nite.

Seing your portfolio go up and down 1M in 24 hours or 500K put a different perspective on bothering to work for a living.

I also have to change perspective eg, the time cost of margin hunting on say ebay or whatever is not worth it. Just buy the thing you need and carry on, eg look a bit.

My view is btc is going to 100K in a bout 2 years and onto 1M after that.

NEM also will be one to watch, zero hype and delivers. People did not steal this coin because it was worthless.

hard question. Long term, there is nothing to worry about, crypto will take over large parts of gov, fin markets, education, healthcare. There is easily a 21T market cap to 50T market cap for crypto. Wether BTC will be the "one" is the question. I feel it will be in a basket of say 5~20 top cryptos. BTC could be the one if maybe it make it block size fractionally bigger all the time to cope with on chain transactions. Also I like Dpos better than POW. BTC strongest point vs other crypto is the amount of quality code into the product vs other coins, and the number of people watching the code base. LN could work out as it small block size will force people to use LN. Idon't grok how LN can keep records though if a channel is closed, you only get overall.
BCH could have been good but split kinda killing itself

for this reason LTC seems very good, larger blocks and segwit.

I cannot see any reason given the growth in HD space and bandwidth and user bast BTC could not go to larger blocks now.

As to mining and power use I don't care much because no one if forcing anyone to mine.

But DPOS or POS seems to answer that energy consumption issue.

Damn, I went through this same process. You and I are a lot alike, or we at least seem to have had similar experiences, although I got in later than you and had only a fraction of the amount.

They didn't take it over to make it successful. BitCoin is the neocon of blockchain technology, it was subverted so they could have it represent bad ideals while parodying its old self just well enough to keep most people in. They'll let it crash when the time is right and respond with a "regulated" blockchain world currency, to protect you all from the foolishness "you" did with BitCoin :^)

Yea I kept saying but X but Y but Z the whole way so far and one of those buts is that because its gaining mass adoption it will happen sooner.. but looking at that chart, if anything its happening slower. I fully expect several years of sub 10k prices. The market could have taken off from ~210 billion after staying solid for a few days but it crashed instead, this wont fix itself overnight.

Dont think in terms of price and market and TA. The world is moving at an extremely rapid pace. Ai, 5g, iot, blockchain, crypto, mass data gathering and analysis. The pandoras box has opened and tech will not slow. The changes in our world will make it happen sooner. The future is in the making. A few years of bear market would mean stagnant technological development. Crypto is here, the devolepment has started, itll only gain pace.

I'm not even an early adopter but this space is complete cancer. It's become a cult full of scams and faggots that have no idea about anything, a huge collection of sycophants fellating eachother in their own respective echo chambers. Outside of devs everything else produces absolutely nothing of value, and even then so many devs are working on trash projects that make no sense.

thats a good question.

I suppose for this reason

in 2013 I went to 250K from 5K, if I had taken out half of that, I would have 125K and then my top in 2018 would be 3.25 M.

In 2018 I could pull out 100K with impunity because it does not effect my overall balance.
If i had pulled out say half in the 2013 run has a much larger effect.

that said, the overall utility of say 3M is much more than 100K, so maybe my logic is off and should have pulled out half.

I really really suffer from agonizing over selling BTC though.

That said, I would need about 1M to get to my current position, and even if it went to zero hav pulled out 110K or more ... so yeah in the big picture its all ok.

well fortunately crypto will never die, I will probally always have 50% in crypto.

The problem with fiat, houses, or any other investment class it can go to zero at the whim or the gov, divorce, being sued, etc etc. So its a bit of an illusion to feel your better off with x million in FIAT assets, shares, property etc. Thought property in the right place is pretty good....I have always hated what passes for "work". basically your screwed into slavery becuase the banks issue debt and print money. I think I have gone through so much shit in my life its time for me to enjoy it a bit and now can.

I appreciate your well thought out posts. I do have to ask though. How do you feel safe with storing your crypto? Hardware fails often, how can one be guaranteed that there coin isn't going to be killed along with the hardware it's stored on? Or are you using some third party like binance?

i would never buy a tresor et because of backdoors

the newer os are more likely to have backdoors, think about it, a good programmer and slip in some code into osx or windows or IOS

the top of the tree approver in the code base will likely do this.

The only real way is to have stock standard usbs and encrypt into them have an os that never goes online then sign transactions, you need 20+ usb sticks with all data encrypted and several up load repos with your necrypted containers.

if you private keys every touch online its game over. Must have air gap
